The exact opposite is true.

Also, The Speaker is in control of security.

Where was the military during the 5-29 insurrection?

These are the same generals that have lost every war since WW2 and think trannies in the military are the answer.

That entire "article" seems like a giantic piece of "disinformation". I'm sure Julia Mueller and The Hill will be deplatformed with quickness by the "fact checkers".

The establishment is afraid of Trump getting another shot.

There's a reason they haven't charged Trump with any crimes. First and foremost, discovery would wreck any narrative that they're continuing to push.

If the actual truth of it all was on display for all to see, the narrative would completely die in moments. It's more effective to keep making claims that they "could" charge Trump, but never actually do it.

This simply confirms the deep state controls the military along with all the alphabet agencies.

The new talking points are out. “Dereliction of duty“ is the new catchphrase. they’re trying their hardest to find something to pin on Trump. Saw the same phrase used on a CNBC article early Monday morning

National Guard

Doesn’t he need authority from the ruling body of the land to do that? He can’t just call the national guard in Louisiana, that’s the governor’s call. He can allocate money (federalize them) once enacted though.

Can someone explain this to me? And didn’t the former president suggest just that, to call troops for added security, and was shot down?

Nancy Pelosi is the one in charge/responsible for the capital security. Trump offered thousands of national guard soldiers days before 1/6 to Pelosi to do just that - guard the capital. Nancy Pelosi turned down/rejected president Trumps support of national guard soldiers.

Whew, where to begin?

Why you would think the Speaker of the House is the sole person in charge of all security at the US Capitol is beyond me. I guess because it’s the default to just blame Pelosi.

Capitol security is controlled by the Capitol Police Board which is composed of the sergeant-at-arms of both the House and the Senate, the Capitol Police Chief, and the Capitol Architect. The Board has to approve a request to call in National Guard.

Nobody on the board apparently knew their own authority here though as everyone was waiting on others to approve any action. Meanwhile, both Pelosi and McConnell were making calls asking for help as was VP Pence. Someone was notably not though….

These lunatics are so stupid they’ll try to impeach him during the 2024 campaign. Of course it’s ridiculous but don’t forget they wanted to impeach him before he took office in 2016 early 17.

It does indeed confirm it. I just watched Martha, Bret on Fox (only because I was watching Kash on Gutfeld)

The talking point from Judge bitch Cheney and for the evening--- is TRUMP CANNOT RUN IN 2024 and DERELICTION OF DUTY.

So these Obama butt kissing generals were indeed taking orders from the swamp.

The J6th committee says WAIT TILL you see what they have in August and whoa to what they have in Sept./Oct. (They may arrest Trump then is what has been said on the interwebz)

Even Martha & Bret said then the R's would push back by this time frame---- because it would be so obviously seen as political. They also said it is slowly working on discrediting Trump from donors & voters.

I think they will JFK him if they have to.

“Political dicksuckers” in this context used to mean politicians who just suck up to people to advance. Now it can mean soldiers acting like politicians who also like to suck actual dick. I don’t even want to think about arse kissers.

Notice that it’s always a group from the DC swamp that comes out with this bull. It is never, “Group of 60 former CEOs come out against Trump’s Jan 6 actions”, or group of 40 former rail workers or group of 50 former engineers, etc.
It is only those that are threatened by Trump.

And the sheep graze on it like a beautiful spring meadow and they enthusiastically say “Baaaaah, May I have another”.

Hmmm

quote:

The National Association of Manufacturers, the largest manufacturing industry group in the U.S., was more outspoken than the Business Roundtable, describing the scenes from the Capitol as “disgusting,” calling the rioters “thugs,” and saying Vice President Mike Pence, an unfailingly loyal lieutenant to Trump, should consider invoking the 25th Amendment to remove Trump from office. (Biden is set to take power in two weeks.)

quote:

The Business Roundtable, a group of CEOs from 200 major companies including Walmart, Amazon, Delta Air Lines, Pfizer, and PepsiCo, called on Trump and his allies “to put an end to the chaos and to facilitate the peaceful transition of power,” adding that “the country deserves better.”

The Business Roundtable earlier this week urged Congress to certify the win by President-elect Joe Biden without delay in the largest push by the business community yet to stop Trump and a group of 12 senators from various attempts to claim the election. Biden won the vote in November by 74 electoral votes and more than 7 million votes.

In November, the organization met privately to discuss possible collective action against the President if he refused to leave office. In his rally on Wednesday right before the attempted coup, Trump said he would never concede.
