Well, there you have it. You can at long last give it a rest. Congrats.

I mean, I'm just someone who has knowingly broken laws before and who has knowingly and unknowingly made mistakes. Personally, when I broke laws, I wasn't thinking "I know this is against the law and I'm doing it because I believe the law doesn't apply to me." I just did what I wanted to do at the moment, and it just so happened to be against the law.

I aspire to the perfection of the average poliboard poster, though.

Has nothing to do with perfection.

It has to do with the female impulse to put niceness alongside or above "following the law" or "maintaining order"

What is your definition of a mistake?

Why does it matter what the charges were if they were dropped?

Sometimes, charges are dropped for lack of evidence, which releases an individual from prosecution, but doesn't always mean the person isn't guilty.

Maybe read Matthew 6:4 before coming on a social media trumpeting your “look at me” nonsense.

I hope you take life as seriously as this message board and following around what a poster typed years ago but....it's not looking good for you.

I don’t take life seriously at all, which is why I find it hilarious that someone is so afraid at simply admitting they are wrong.

That is good news to both of you Cubbs.

Let's see how many pages these old fricktards, who cannot just stay away, will give you. I am saying it will not go as long as the original, although it looks like the fricktards have just lined up to give you a piece of their mind. One day, they will all grow up and realize they should have had a better hobby. Ensuring that you post derogatory comments everytime Cubbies posts anything is not a healthy hobby. Shows me that there are a lot of sociopaths and narcissists here. I am actually amazed. I honestly thought sociopaths and narcissists were, by nature, fairly smart. How wrong I was.

So, how many pages do you think you will get out of them?

I hope he gets a decent job and stays out of trouble. It's on him now. I assume he is an adult, so he has to be responsible for his actions. I give you credit for helping him, but you can't hold his hand forever. It's a cruel world, and he has to toughen up and play by the rules.

I don't think you understand the definition of mistake. There's nothing mistaken about knowing you don't have a license and then doubling down when you get pulled over and decide to run. Those are decisions. Bad ones. Mistake is when you accidently dial the wrong number not when you intentionally dial the wrong number.

I only know him because he has a felony conviction and was sentenced to community supervision. What have I done after his conviction that prioritized niceness above following the law?

Thank you! He’s the first person on probation or parole to earn their GED through the Dept of Public Safety & Corrections in the state this fiscal year.

Before anyone gets excited, I don’t work for the State or DOC.

as someone interested in sociology, I’ve spent far too much time pondering why I elicit such strong, negative reactions from people here. It’s so opposite from my experience in the physical world where I’ve always been pretty well-liked. Certainly not hated. I still don’t have an explanation.

Tbh, sometimes when posters who I consider to be thoughtful lash out at me, it kind of sends me into a crisis. “Am I actually a thoughtless moron?” But then the fact that I even wonder that kind of reminds me that I’m not. Again, idk why I elicit such polarity here. My posts are mostly earnest or just silly.
