I mean, if a post 4cubbies made on a political message board isn’t worth obsessing over for 18 months, what is? What could be worthier of a stranger’s mental bandwidth than one of my musings?
Maybe you are the one with misaligned priorities.
(I hope the absurdity is apparent)

Oh, sweetie. The post is honestly irrelevant. It is hilarious that you thought Trayvon was shot and killed by police and even more worrisome how absolute you were in that Sandra bland was killed by jail workers. Those are funny things.
What I continue to highlight, and your post is such a wonderful example of, is your massive, planet sized sense of self worth, ego, and desire for attention. You sit here and act like you are some moral superior being who is infallible, you sit and go on and on and on about the most insane dribbling of an out of touch liberal. All the while, you simply refuse to ever admit when you are wrong. Ever. About anything. You dodge, duck, run away, and sit on your high horse of sociopathic self entitlement and refuse to ever correct yourself.
Why, again, can you simply not say the words “I was wrong”?
Let me guess….. no response

Why is the assumption that there was a crime if the charges were dismissed? Why isn't that evidence that no crime was committed?
You mean other than the fact that you've admitted that there was a crime committed?
Multiple times?

He was originally convicted in 2025. Those charges and subsequent convictions are not disputed.
He was arrested again in March of 2026. Those charges were all dismissed after an investigation determined no crimes were committed.

as someone interested in sociology, I’ve spent far too much time pondering why I elicit such strong, negative reactions from people here. It’s so opposite from my experience in the physical world where I’ve always been pretty well-liked. Certainly not hated. I still don’t have an explanation.
Internet is not the real world. IRL, the threat of a forceful reaction keeps most people in line. Those who are not happy with their lot in life, usually become very abusive online. They see the upvotes and that brings the dopemine hit and they become addicted. Many, many studies have been done on this. Many, but not all, of those who constantly harass you are genuinely unhappy IRL and the dopemine hits make things better. They may be a loser IRL, but in their mind...not here.
Is why I very rarely give upvotes and never give downvotes. If I do give an upvote, I usually say something. I did upvote this post BTW.

The idea that someone would only be decent due to their instinct for self-preservation is not a comforting thought.

ETA: It brings me back to something I've been thinking about a lot lately-- what makes life meaningful or purposeful? What makes a life worth living? It makes me sad that some people do believe they find meaning and purpose in being rude to strangers online (or in person).

A beach made of fine pebbles(not sand, sand is messy) somewhere on either the SE coast of the Adriatic or the southern Aegean.
The ability to spend most of my time there and not worry about work, global politics, or even the Joneses makes life all worth while. Even better when the wife is with me. The kids? Forget about them (I kid, I kid).

Ohhh more moral high ground bullshittery from the elitist AWFL who can’t admit she’s wrong

Sorry if I have the facts confused.
So when you were talking for pages on here about how he made bad choices but how poor people often have to choose between functioning in society or obeying the law, you were only talking about the 2025 case?
The driving without a license was 2025?
What were the charges in 2026?

I didn’t say this. Good grief.
When I made that thread, I was upset. All I knew at that time was that he had been arrested and what the charges were (and there were several charges). I was disappointed and frustrated. I didn’t have much information and couldn’t get more information.
He spent about 3 weeks in jail and bonded out in early April. His charges were dismissed in May. I talked to him when be bonded out. He told me his interpretation of events. The outcome happened to support what he told me happened.

Of course you did. Several times. Better grief.

O.k. What does that have to do with anything? Are you saying that you posted incorrect information on that thread because you were upset?
quote:

Why won't you tell me what they were? I asked directly.
quote:

Not necessarily. Like I posted before, just having charges dismissed does NOT mean that the person didn't do exactly what the charges described.
quote:
What is the relevance?
Seriously? Your claim is that he didn't do anything wrong and you've strongly implied that you didn't admit that he did anything wrong on the previous thread.
That's not what I remember. I remember you distinctly talking about him driving without a license, which is obviously a crime. I've asked you directly whether you were talking about the 2025 incident instead of the recent one because the only way you didn't do exactly what I said you did (that you denied) in admitting that the guy had committed crimes is if you were only talking about 2025.
The question is obviously relevant because if one of the charges was driving without a license, your claim is false on that basis.

The only thing I'm presuming is that what you said was about the recent event and not 2025.
You can clear that up instantly just by answering that question.

Good luck with that. Cubbies has quite the history of making hysterical claims and then refusing to admit that she was wrong in her emotional state.
She simply can’t say the words “I was wrong”
It really is quite the interesting peak into the psyche of a truly AWFL human being.
