My wife was Canadian when we got married we had to sign papers she would never be eligible for any welfare benefits, and every immigrant signed the papers, when and why did this change?

Because Asian includes places like Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan, etc. Not just higher IQ eastern Asians.

The Hispanic one baffles me. Places like the Rio Grande Valley are booming compared to a similar demographic area in Laredo.

Not that it changes much, because it is still too high, but would like to see that chart with Medicaid removed.
Statistically it's interesting that there is a rise in 3/4 categories between 2nd and 3rd generation with 2 of them being 8% increases. Wonder what's the reason for that.

There were poor people in the early colonies of America. They worked for local farmers for a room in the barn and food. They didn't have kids because no woman wanted a homeless guy. It was a great motivation for young men to work hard and get somes skills. That motivation is gone these days.

Blacks only make up 13% of the population. Like Ann Coulter said the United States will basically become Mexico. The immigrants will find the US will become like place they were fleeing. I know they don’t want to hear this, but they’d be better off building the country they want in their home country. Stay and fight for their home.

in Louisiana, anyone who qualifies for free lunch at school gets summer food stamps. An entire student body qualifies for free school lunch if at least 30% or 70% (I can't remember the precise percentage) of students qualify for free lunch based on household income.
I wonder if all the students would be counted as beneficiaries of welfare.
All this to say that numbers can be manipulated to tell whatever story someone wants to tell.

How would those numbers be captured in this data?
