You gave us nine bullet points about what you believe. The modern Left absolutely opposes all nine of them, and they align more closely with modern conservative principles and values.
I left the (D) behind in 2016 and will now continue to vote exclusively for Republicans and Independents until which time the Democrats pull their heads from between their butt cheeks and come back to reality.
Why are you proudly remaining a member of the Party that openly hates what you stand for? Honest question. I left the Dims for these reasons. I won't register as a Republican because I only align with what the Republican Party says as opposed to what they actually accomplish in practice (which is basically to further the same agenda as the Democrats, only more slowly).

WTF? I’ve had about a hundred women engineers working in my organization. Many were highly respected, very well compensated and advanced in the ranks. None were as good as the best male engineers we had. Two were great managers. One of those was advanced extremely high in the company and the other refused promotion due to a desire to focus on motherhood.

Great. That's what you believe. However, you vote for communists that will destroy this country.
I think you have more in common with the Republican party than the Democrats. You can't just find one or two things you don't like about Conservatives and then say, "That is why I don't vote Republican".
Again, if you really thought about what you believe in and balanced things out, you would find you are more Conservative than Liberal and would vote accordingly.
The first thing you can do is quit watching MSNBC, The View, CNN, ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News.

That explains why you're still voting for a party with whom you disagree on 75% of the platform (according to your post, anyway).
And because of that, you're still part of the problem.
See, it doesn't matter how "reasonable and moderate" you are if you are voting to put people in power who aren't.
