Man, I've been told I'm a dumbass too, by many conservatives of the board, because I won't register as anything other than Independent.

I started my life and earliest adulthood as a Kennedy Democrat. But that party started dying in the 90s, even though in contrast the Clinton Democrats weren't half as bad as what these modern progressive pinkos have become.

But the GOPe- buncha feckless sellouts. We blame it on "those few" (Collins, Murkowski, et al) that always seem to get in the way, but on paper they all play ball with the Establishment Uniparty. Outside of a few "more consistent" members in the House (Burchett, Gill, Luna), they give me no reason to want to identify with them. And maybe I am a dumbass, because Oklahoma is a closed-primary State so I get locked out of voting for new blood to challenge the incumbent RINOs like Lankford and Bice that directly represent my area. I'll admit I struggle with that.
