You people crack me up.

I go to NYC regularly for work. Sometimes monthly, but at least 5-6 times a year.
It looks the same as it has for the last 15-20 years in Manhattan. Admittedly, I go only to the nicer parts of town. Is it the not nice parts of town that have degraded under Mamdani?

no one needs 500k in retirement? Pulling out the standard 4% a year, that's only $25k a year. My homeowners insurance is 5 k a year. Throw in another 6k a year for property tax, and you've almost spent have of that.
Do you know how much it cost to go into assisted living? Do you know how much it costs to hire help?
Did you know that a replacement tooth cost $5K, and insurance doesn't pay for much of it?
Getting old costs money!
You don't know everyone's situation. For instance, we have a disabled daughter we are taking care of.
We actually spend our money wisely, unlike the government.

I live outside of NY city and if you really want to fix these community problems, you have to tax unrealized capital gains, which has to include IRAs and 401Ks. No one needs $500K+ in retirement. There should also be a tax penalty if you sell any assets like Stock or your home below the original purchase price adjusted for inflation. If we can get taxes on this with rates in excess of 90%, redistribute the taxes to sewage and water boards, then we will start seeing vibrant collectives again.
What Manifesto is this being quoted from?

Only if you are a U.S. citizen. If you’re illegal, it’s all free….

Because it’s a solid example of what these policies beget. It’s a living, breathing example of what happens when you elect people like this.

Everything the Islamo-Marxist Mafia Democrats touch turns to putrid smelly feces.
It's gotten so bad in Newscums Sacramento, California customers coming out of neighborhood family restaurants are treated to homeless people defecating on the sidewalks right in front of them........and their children.
Then there's the scantily clad prostitutes peddling their trade near shopping centers and warehouse truck loading depots.
Then the cartel operatives move in.
Elections have consequences.

I had a friend that just came back from NYC . Everything you hear on FoxNews is true. Lots of homeless people, smells like poop, and pee. Rats everywhere. Graffiti all over the place. Residents and people that work in NYC are fed up.
Very few people in Manhattan are from there. My daughter spent the last 2 yrs living the and just moved over to Brooklyn and it is light and day different. She is in her early 30's and she cannot stand the young college kids despite being somewhat liberal herself. Her rule is the longer you stay there the more you cannot stand the hassle that is living in NYC and I am just talking about the living style/culture. Like living in an ant hill and you dont like most of the other ants.

Just because you’ve made poor life and financial choices does not give you the right to steal from those who didn’t.
