How did this happen? How did the right allow themselves to be so weak and outsmarted?

The Right is tragically retarded at politics, and too fat/happy to bother putting up a fight.

Bureaucracies tend to bend left over time. Anarcho-capitalism seems to be ideal.

My lib friends claim that the federal courts are controlled by conservatives. Don't know or care enough to look into it.

Only by the slightest of margins. Prior to Trump, the circuit courts of appeal leaned blue. Now, Trump has appointed enough judges that it's become very slightly red or perhaps at least a 50-50 split.

Of course, this is vulnerable by the fact that conservatives generally are likelier to flip liberal than vice versa. For instance, Roberts often votes liberal, but when's the last time you ever heard of any of the 4 Supreme Court liberals ever going conservative? They're an ironclad united leftist bloc. Liberal judges tend to exhibit far more unity and discipline.

So, no, conservatives do not "control" the federal courts, anymore than a football team that is leading 14-13 at halftime is "controlling" the game.

On most political issues, you can generally find two sides: One is incompetent, and the other is evil.

The evil side is cunning and shrewd. The good guys are incompetent and apathetic.

Would like to hear your argument here. Let’s start with generals: which ones are Dems?

I'd say a significant portion of the upper echelons are left leaning.

The executive and judicial branches of the federal government, and half of the legislative branch?

By that do you mean sometimes in conflict with Trump or truly left leaning? Because with discipline being valued as it is in the military, I agree there will be a natural friction between the military and someone like Trump. But I just don’t see where the military is truly left leaning. I’m flexible here though, truly just curious what the arguments are.

Senate, presidency, foxnews, qanon, white supremacy organizations, oil & gas industry, military supply industry, NRA, evangelical Christians, farming (Trump subsidies), ranchers, mining and coal industries, private incarceration firms, private education firm, Zuck and Facebook, and Koch industries to name a few. What am I leaving out?

Interesting. I just don’t really see that, but that’s just me. I mean, they will do things like swiftly remove names of confederates from military bases, and I can see that getting labeled as leftist. But I see it more as a disciplined prioritization of principals ultimately based on determining what really matters in saving lives, and what doesn’t. Don’t see them wallowing in the pointless leftist bullshite that much.

you are correct but many here haven't a clue about what you are actually stating when you say 'head of the Church'.

but it isn't a secret and i hope those who have been kept in the dark will take time to study the meaning of it in full.

the body of Christ is the church. always has been and always will be.

God bless.

The swift removal of confederate names is an example too, even though you don't see it.

I'd say the middle and lower combat ranks are generally conservative, but they're far outnumbered by the admin bloat, which is left leaning.

Most SCOTUS decisions are not 5-4.

Only if it is explicitly Hoppean/paleocon in cultural terms. Otherwise, you just end up with more globocap.
