You realize government already forces private businesses that serve the public to have specific requirements for bathrooms. It’s called building code.
They should do like most of Europe and have floor to ceiling doors on all the stalls (that don’t have spaces you can look through). It would be incredible easy to retrofit.

Nah. I prefer to get petty. Get rid of gender specific bathrooms and go to sex organ specific bathrooms. So instead of the men's room you have a penis bathroom and instead of a women's bathroom a vagina bathroom.

The easiest fix is to just switch to xx/xy bathrooms. Born with a dick use the boys and ect... OR make it a 20 yr prison sentence if you're caught in the bathroom that is not designated for your born biological sex

The debate is not just about public bathrooms. The big trend in nice homes is to ditch the idea of a master bath with a wife and husband area. The best thing is totally different bathrooms. The wife has too much crap cluttering the shared bathroom.

They already have those in a number of locations. They are called “family restrooms”. One toilet/lavatory and a changing table with a door lock.

I saw a thing on Youtube where the homeless just set up house in those stalls.at some beach. It was amazing how much stuff they could fit in one.

An architect once told me when drawing up new office space... Every door is $1k. That was 30 years ago. I'm not saying it has to be, but you get my drift. Especially if each has its own lavatory. Think of those plumbing and maintenance costs.

Seems like lots of small businesses are already doing this. At this point, probably the best way to go if you can figure out how to get around the code issues for high occupancy buildings. Nobody likes massive communal shitters anyway.

Exactly. The % of people who would seek such an option are minuscule..
With that in mind, Federal buildings can continue to maintain separate men’s/women’s facilities for xx & xy but provide a unisex one holer option for those who says it doesn’t matter. It also should be left to the individual states on how to approach this issue in state and municipal facilities.
Blue States would be more likely to demand compliance with the “trans” insanity while Red States would be more likely to choice sanity. Privately owned businesses should be allowed make their own decisions on these matters yet that probably will not occur in many deep Blue states.
