re: Are Dems ahead of the curve on corporate taxes as UBI becomes necessary due to AI?

you know what AI can't do? it can't demo my two upstairs bath rooms
Yet. It won't be AI alone though, so you are right about that. Robotics, automation, and AI will do that eventually. There are already robotic/automated roofing systems, brick and block laying systems, and on site 3d building printers. Those are real use cases, not demonstration models. All of it is early stages but cheaper and more efficient and reliable than humans. It will spread to other areas like remodeling eventually.

I think there will definitely be a limit to what text-based LLMs can accomplish
I agree. We aren't near that limit though. There is also the push for AGI. Whether it is achievable can be debated, but it is a goal.

Who says China doesn't do it first?
They are going to course correct fast then. Their AI is not at our level but they are trying to make it ubiquitous. Not speculation, it is what is happening.
AI, robotics, and automation are going to change things sooner than people think. If anything, it is being slow walked a bit to figure out what to do with displaced workers. We saw that wifh the dock workers union contract. The fast food industry could be mostly fully automated and AI run in two years. No job is safe, some are just safer a longer period of time.

The more direct lever is just to ban corporate use of AI. The platform of any government that gets elected by enough people interested in getting the UBI ball rolling, is 100% going to include axing AI as well
You want to unilaterally disarm while China and other countries continue on with AI?

How would it make sense to burn down a building where the illegal aliens you supposedly love are being held? Kill them to make them free?
Isn't the US AI industry behind Trump? I think his policies are more favorable to them than what democrats proposed.
So I looked up Al Seckel. Died in 2015, supposedly. His girlfriend at the time of death was one of Ghislaine Maxwell's sisters.

This is our homeland. My family has been here before it was a country. If this country fell, we have no place to go back to. They can go back to China, or Mexico, or wherever.

27 year old lily white boy who grew up in Oregon and skis for a living will make sure to tell us about all the injustices of this evil country.
Reminds me of these pro-illegal groups made up of illegals who are asking protesters to stop with the rape whistles and to tone things down being told to shut up because the white saviors know best.
The few blacks you do see are usually some sort of leadership and paid to be there. Still bringing up George Floyd.

Correct, but he didn't pilot AF1 for Clinton as the thread title states. He carried the football and was around Clinton much more than the AF1 pilot would ever have been. Read his books.

Not to quibble but he wasn't the AF1 pilot. He carried the football.

He has been exposed as a fake combat veteran but keeps referring to himself as one. Commie agitator.
We shouldn't educate or allow them to be employed here.
No. Can't lose to China. End of story.

Is it really storming if Target doesn't even try to stop you or shut you down?

His days at the Montgomery Adveriser were horrible. Seems like a lifetime ago. Haven't seen his name in years.
