My fix for the bathroom debate: Lockable, individual bathrooms like you have at home.

No more group bathrooms with 2-3 stalls, 2 urinals, and a handful of sinks.

One toilet, one urinal, and one sink with a lockable door.

Done

..but I’m sure this would enrage the trans people who really want to be in the same bathroom as little girls.

Btw, I’m ready for round 2 of the sky screamers next month.

Ignoring the trans issue, I'm down with this. I'd pay for it, too.

It would be nice to drop a deuce in private.

Many big public places like malls and movie theaters have family bathrooms that basically serve this purpose.

Make it an across the board change and this fixes itself.

Houston has many restaurants like this already.

You have an open area to wash hands and then individual stalls with the doors all the way to the ceiling and the floor.

Absolutely, great idea. We should cater to the .00001% at any and all cost. YOU first, that is if you have a public bathroom.

How? Have government force private businesses to do it?

I was at a restaurant in Austin last month and the restroom was set up so that the actual stall was private but the area where you wash up was for everyone.

Are you advocating pay for poop?
Or
More government overreach in construction?

We do have public bathrooms and it’s individual just like I stated.

The cost to build an ADA-accessible bathroom isn't cheap and takes up about 50 sq ft of floor space. Making a company build multiple bathrooms that would all need to be ADA accessible and take up more floor space vs one large bathroom with normal stalls and one ADA stall just to appease some sick individuals is dumb

We could make every business overhaul their bathroom set up.... or hear me out now.....we could get unstable people the mental help they need and quit pretending this is normal.

It'll be no cost. Apparently SFP is going to pay for it.

He said he would.

I think he means more like how Europe has it.

It's more about extending the partitions than creating an entirely new layout, I believe.

If I'm wrong, then this is specifically what *I* was talking about as a solution.

It would end up being less access to bathrooms.

Instead of group bathrooms where 4-5 people can access it simultaneously, it’ll be 2 or 3 totally individual bathrooms.

Huge venues like stadiums would be the toughest place to implement it.

There was one bathroom like this at a previous job.. The male only and female only bathrooms were not that far away... It was the bathroom the guys knew they could take a peaceful dump and stink it up.. One day I opened the unlocked door and there was a girl sitting on the toilet and she let out a scream... I got out of there but loudly said "Lock the freakin door next time"....

And you're willing to force EVERYONE in the country to do the same at their cost just to make yourself feel like a empathetic person? This is all aside from the fact that none of the people you are aiming to please are actual transgender people, cross dressers. The big lie is that there are a shitload of people walking the walk while in reality its a large majority of people talking talk.
