Too bad we can not really trust what they report.

What is it that Americans do not have the appetite for and how does it relate to Gaza?

Who is the we in that sentence? This war is being waged by the fiat of exactly one man. You can’t blame “Americans” for one man’s lack of strategy, courage, or understand of the region and geopolitics

Of course there’s shortages. And while exact numbers in the stockpile are classified, it’s not hard to get an approximate amount via OSINT. We have an open society and our weapons manufacturers are manned by everyday people. Word gets around about how much we generally have and how much we generally make.

No on be thinks that at all but who is going to trust the media having accurate numbers? You believe the numbers they are throwing out?

While true, this is directly from a report produced by our own military. They have legal mandates to report certain military equipment numbers periodically.

Copying and pasting numbers from those reports doesn’t get thrown away simply because it’s the MSM doing the copying

People are going to learn the hard way the limits of what can be done with bombing campaigns. It's just part of warfare.

This is the Axios piece that Powerman referenced. I feel like they have been the unofficial administration mouthpiece the past few months. So, maybe this helps to give Trump his out.
quote:

The top U.S. military commander in the Middle East, Adm. Brad Cooper, recommended stopping the bombing campaign around the Strait of Hormuz because it has reached the limit of its effectiveness, according to two sources with knowledge of his position.

Why it matters: The recommendation by Cooper, the commander of the U.S. Military Central Command (CENTCOM), together with other advisers impacted President Trump's decision on Friday to pause U.S. strikes against Iran, the sources said.

It was an acknowledgement by both military and civilian advisers to the president that there are limits to what can be accomplished through military action, and specifically an air power campaign.

Driving the news: For the first time in two weeks, Trump ordered the military to hold fire and not conduct strikes against Iranian targets around the southern coast of Iran and in the Strait of Hormuz area.

Ukraine is running out of men.
Iran is running out of storage space for oil.
USA is running out of ammo.

To some extent all of this is true. But to date it hasn't manifest itself on the battlefield like the media has portrayed it would.

I can see diminishing returns.

But not the top brass telling the media that we're out of ammo.

More Intel will come.

Then why aren't the Iranians flooding the sky with drones and missles? Don't always believe what you see and hear from an adversarial media
