If tweet fails to load, click here.I’m not a Democrat, but rather an unreconstructed Reagan/Bush/Mccain/romney kinda republican. Hashtag nevertrump and all that (though I have not yet deigned to vote D). So there’s basically no outlet for my kind. Things we used to advocate for:
-free trade, no tariffs
-low taxes on investment and income, but with lower incomes required to pay into the system for benefits
-skepticism of federal power, bias toward empowering state governments
-family values issues - marriage, freedom of religion, school choice,
-character - we used the be the party to stand athwart NYC libertine womanizing multi-divorced vulgarians because we believed that character was destiny, that it reflected temperament and judgment in office
-robust foreign policy that promotes American ideals and Founding principles to all people
-secure borders but welcoming of lawful immigrants
-a temperament skeptical of populist movements
Just what comes to mind now, one almost forgets because the old platforms are so unrecognizable now. quaint stuff.

Not sure the bubbler is working as planned. Community note says it’s some issue with how lining was applied, not the chemicals but idk. Hope they get it figured out.

And he signed it at Versailles!
It was sort of a thrill for a bit to have a bunch of people in power who knew nothing about history and came at policy not from ideology but like…random animal instincts. But this is what we get I guess.

Not happening. But if you’re so confident you can make a fortune on prediction markets!

Yes
Hilarious how, like everyone on here, JD did the same routine of first calling it a damned lie, then bending in the familiar humiliation to defend what would have been indefensible only yesterday.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Those are all interesting and instructive examples - issues MAGA wielded in elections, started to address, then exposed Trump’s incompetence / corruption.

So why are we paying them $300B?
Or are you saying the storm is coming™ and they’ll die before we have to pay?

Trump pays literal tribute to our enemies and these morons can’t see any problem. This is what he meant by being able to shoot someone on 5th avenue and his supporters stay loyal.
re: How are SALT Deductions Legal?
Posted by E Redcoat on 6/2/26 at 9:56 pm to TheMagicMan
This post is so emblematic of how little most people understand about how the country, economy, government, money etc works. Most people are too poor to know what a tax deduction even is. So our politics (and certainly TD) is just an endless, ignorant partisan grievance, always trying to find a way to make it about the other side.
By the way, Florida is among the top beneficiaries of salt deductions, so that’s not why you don’t know how any of this works.

Incorrect. We have had a fortune in Iran. Sadly the president can’t brag about it because of these little men with their $4 gas.

If tweet fails to load, click here.Someone should tell the guy who started a thread worried that the pope was “altering scripture” — TD is so illiterate and gullible they don’t understand how quotation marks work, and yet eagerly ignore the confabulations and heresies of Trump and Hegseth.

I think we chalk a lot of things up to trumps eccentricity and his love of trolling online. But I’m at a total loss. This comes from a place of evil.
I’m not worried about anything. Just responding to an incorrect assertion about the market reaction
Stock futures down sharply. Oil up.
As disgusting as it is to celebrate violence against women this way (remember it’s our side that protects families and women and children), it’s the cowardice that gets me here. Freaks feeling empowered to say things that would bring them rightful shame in their churches and around their dinner tables. Get help.
Made me lol. Exactly the right response to this truly bizarre thread
