Tell you what: I'll accept your claims that we are driving climate change when you or anyone else can answer two very simple questions.
1. What is the ideal temperature/humidity for every city in the world? Since you call it a global problem, surely someone knows the goal of such things as the Paris Accord.
2. How much money will it take to control the climate, and where do we send our share? Once there, how will it be spent?
You see, if you can't determine the end goal, then you can't determine how close you are to it nor how much progress you've made toward it.
Simply saying we have to reduce CO2 emissions isn't enough if it means very little change in temperature/humidity.

Yes, pollution is acceptable. It's a question as to what level of pollution is acceptable.
If you don't want to pollute, find a hole and go bury yourself in it.

Let's be honest here - WHY did the progs change their concern about GLOBAL WARMING to "climate change?"
I can answer that one from a UK and Scandinavian viewpoint. The progs are concerned that melting ice from Greenland will interrupt the Gulf Stream that keeps Northern Europe from being another Siberia. So, in their world, Global Warming is going to cause European cooling. It's hard to call it Global Warming when hundreds of millions of people are freezing their asses off, so they flipped to Climate Change.

1. When AleGore declared that "the debate is over" and refused to even listen to any differing opinions. The only reason politicized scum wants the debate to "be over" is because they cannot support their insane THEORIES with facts.
And this just isn't science. Anyone who declares "the debate is over" is a zealot - a purveyor of a secular religion, period.
Their continued efforts to massage actual and corrupted data, using projections in lieu of actual facts, disregarding facts that don't fit the theory all add up to zealotry, "theology" for lack of a better term.

If climate change is real, that means more regulation
You actually did answer your own question without realizing it.
As per usual, you're a liberal and the ONLY solution you see to any and all problems is government.
Hence, you assume that the only solution here is shite tons of regulation.
Which, of course, is the only reason liberals are so gung ho for it.

I don't know anyone who denies that the earth's climate changes and has done so for millions upon millions of years. It's the climate change is caused by muh global warming that people think is bullshite.

What are your personal credentials to argue that man-made climate change is real?
I'm not qualified, that's why I have to side with the VAST majority of the scientific community. Same reason you go to a doctor instead of diagnosing and treating yourself. They're called experts for a reason.
Your post history shows you have an obvious biased against any view that contradicts conservatism. I argue your opinion on climate science is motivated by political issues.

No one denies the climate changes. That's what it does. It's dynamic.
quote:
ETA: I'm talking about human contribution to climate change
And what is that human contribution exactly? I don't deny we have an impact on the environment, of course we do, but what is it? Do we know all of the environment's problems are 100% caused by humans and not some other factors?
The problem with the climate change wackos is that they can't figure it out. They want to blame humans, but they don't know how to pin it on us. At first, it was Global Cooling. They sky screamed in the 70s and 80s that the Earth was cooling. In the 90s and 00s, it shifted from Global Cooling, to Global Warming. Suddenly the sky screaming was about rising temperatures. Now, it's been modified again to just a vague, all encompassing Climate Change.

An honest and intelligent advocate for either side will acknowledge the accuracy of both positions, but that is just not the sort of debate we have in this country, because far too many are neither honest nor intelligent.
quote:Agreed. Just another example of how politics in this country is dictated by the extremes, rather than by those standing on common ground.
