The Villages has more roundabouts than stoplights by a lot. The stoplights are on the state highways that cut through, but when major roads within The Villages intersect, it is always a roundabout. The only real issue is with people that enter a roundabout from the right lane and stay in the circle to the 3rd exit. People that go straight through that enter from the left lane have to dodge those knuckleheads constantly.

I use lostgolfballs, but I only buy "pristine" Titleist Velocity there. They end up a bit over $1 each when you get a discount and free shipping. My swing speed is 98ish, and they work very well for me. It makes it easy to say, "You keep it." when a new ball is at the edge of a lake close to one of our many gators.

Hard to say how good we will be, but very easy to predict that we will be better. We were 16th and 15th in the league in Lebby's first 2 seasons. Arnett has had solid defenses everywhere he has been, so I am hopeful that we will be competitive if the offense can maintain or improve their performance.

My mom and her sister had undergraduate degrees from the University of Copenhagen in theoretical physics. They had been told there was no place for women in advanced physics in Denmark, so they moved their studies to the US. My dad was working on his doctorate at the time. My dad sort of forgot to tell my mom that he was a widower with 2 kids back in Georgia with his mother.

Love that course. Used to play in the pro-am every year before it was a play-off event. The zoysia fairways give you perfect lies every time. The bermuda rough on the other hand ..

Archie was really fast. I saw him get a double on a bunt vs Vandy. He bunted up the 1B line. 2B came over to cover 1st. SS did not immediately cover 2nd, and Archie rounded first and went straight to 2nd. He then stole 3rd and came home on a routine grounder.
I think he still holds the Ole Miss record for triples. He led Ole Miss to the 1969 CWS and was drafted by MLB 4 times.

When I was 36, I was playing pick up basketball at Stanford. The open gym was closing, and the Stanford team was coming out to practice. They had just won their regional and were headed to the final four (1991). The coach asked several of us to hang around and scrimmage against the team so they could practice against taller players. I am 6'5", so close to the size of the bigs that Tennessee had.
After about 10 minutes, they stopped the play and told me that I needed to stop jumping to block shots and grab rebounds because the women's game was more horizontal than vertical.
