May be a dumb question, but do you really want to run rule every mid week game? Usually it’s used to get guys experience and the results usually have little impact on seeding. If you’re blowing teams out, guys aren’t getting that extra experience.

Austin Peay had a two game win streak in the series before tonight. They were 46-14 (26-4) last year, so they are usually very good competition. A lot of people got to play tonight which is a good thing.

Our next 4 games are Arizona St, VaTech, UCLA, and at USM.

the pitching may be in our favor starting out.

Every time I think this way, the guy with the double digit ERA gives up one hit in 6 innings.

Midweek games... Always big games for SEC opponents.

MSU, TAMU, and Tennessee have UCLA, Arizona State, and Virginia Tech this weekend, so all 3 will be working the back half of their pitching staffs today to save arms for the weekend.

SEC was 44-4 over the weekend.

Wow! Looks like one team took half of the 4 losses.

OU has 2 games vs Arizona St (7-0) in mid-week. If they win those, they will start getting a lot more love.
Sorry, but the only one we have had that I didn't like was a girl from Denmark. She was a pain in the arse. Her dad said she was a pain in the arse as well. The school thought she was a pain in the arse, and she was sent home after 2 months in the US.

We had a guy from Taiwan that was pretty cool, but he would bury himself in his room and play video games all the time. He never wanted to participate in any activities with other kids.

All of the other 6 kids were great. A German girl moved back to our town after she graduated from college, and she ended up getting US citizenship. My favorite was a girl from Japan. She works for an English newspaper in Tokyo now.

I had a Russian girl spend a summer with us in 2001 or so. She was from Stalingrad and knew zero about WW2. I gave her history lessons and she was totally shocked. She knew their were a lot of statues around Volgograd, but she had no clue what they were about or that the city had ever been called Stalingrad.
Random stats from the SEC site:

LSU leads the conference with a .368 batting average. 4 other teams are batting over .350.

Vandy leads the league in homers and slugging pct. They have 21 dingers so far. UGA is 2nd with 18.

OU leads the league in OB% with .517. Mizzou is 2nd at .498. OU has collected 61 base on balls from opposing pitching.

Tennessee leads the league in ERA at 1.76. Texas is a close 2nd at 1.80. 10 teams have an ERA of 3.00 or lower.

LSU is last in ERA at 4.73, but first in the league with 96 K's which is close to 14 per game. MSU is 2nd with 86 K's

UK leads in wild pitches and hit batters, so don't dig in too deep when facing them.

Texas A&M is first in walks allowed with only 5 so far. Auburn is 2nd with 13. LSU and Mizzou are tied for last with 28.

Tennessee ruined their perfect fielding stats yesterday, and MSU leads the league at .988. Bama, UK, and Tennessee are tied for 2nd at .985.

UGA has thrown out 4 of 8 runners trying to steal a base.
George Carlin said that you should ask your potential boss during your job interview how he felt about absenteeism on Mondays and Fridays.
MSU walked off Delaware in the 8th - 10-0.
#1 LSU
#2 Texas
#3 Mississippi State
#3 Tennessee

Hmmm... Perhaps Tennessee is a typo, and they are #13?
Have to laugh at the thread title. Lort in Danish is "shite". So as a native Danish speaker, I saw Praise the shite.
Reminder that Pistol Pete averaged 44 a game as a freshman on the freshman team because freshmen weren't allowed to play varsity. Shot charts showed that he would have averaged 12 threes per game if there had been a 3-point line. If you watched Josh Hubbard's insane first half last night, that was how Pete played for most of his games. Hubbard would have had 26 with no 3-point line. Pete averaged 22 per half for his 4 years in college.

Josh Hubbard with 29 pts with 3:35 left in the first half.
State holds off Alcorn St 19-0.

The freshman pitchers that made their debuts the last couple of days are very impressive. Two of them hit 100. The others are high 90's.

The green is closer because the back half of the old green crashed into the ocean a number of years ago. They rebuilt it to look the same, but it is bigger than it was, and you can see most of the putting surface from the tee now.
