That's an opinion, but ok.

That's something that I absolutely do not give a shite about. What is welcome or not has absolutely no place in decision making.

There are other business people who complied with the law who are upset.
Some Business Owners Not Praising Shelley Luther For Violating Orders: ‘Why Do We Even Have The Rules?

Some saw her as a “hero” for standing up to officials and not caving into the orders. Others, however, did not share that same praise.
“I’ve lost hundreds of thousands of dollars with no caterings,” local business owner David Snell said. Snell owns catering company Cajun Crawfish Co. and an airplane tour business. He can’t fly without regulations and his catering business is closed during the pandemic.
He saw Luther’s actions and the governor’s call to repeal jail as a penalty for her act of contempt as disrespectful.
“Let’s all break the rules, if you break the rules there’s some consequences. But that’s the message it sends, why do we even have the rules,” Snell said. “To say that we’re going to break rules, be a filibuster and be some hero because of it — no. I will never do that. Many business owners I know will not do that.”

I'm so tired of all this crap.
Dallas judge got their panties in a wad because this lady wouldn't listen to Jenkins, who in their opinion is just a liberal judge hero.
I mean rob someone, you are fine. Let out of jail without bail.
Disobey the lockdown order, you go to jail.
Classic current liberals. Miss the old liberals who were consistent.
I have no problem with fining the lady because she broker the law while others were following it.

SO
frickING
WHAT?
How about they worry about their own business and let this lady tend to hers?
Maybe if more of them stood up to this shite like she did, they wouldn’t be hurting. Maybe this shite would actually END.

The judge Moye had to delete his Twitter. So I’m guessing there’s a lot of embarrassment to go around here.

I’m upset that the governor issued an order that contained criminal penalties (and Paxton’s office backed its enforceability and legality, right down the line), then blamed a judge for having the audacity of upholding his order.
Let's be serious- you could care less about the governor or his order- this is a deeper issue for you! Willing to bet you have some connection to the shitty lib judge or possibly the fact you may be a libtard trial lawyer!

Nah. I think she’s just another damn know-it-all Karen who’s reluctant to see this crap be over.

Did you really boldface "so effing what"?
How old are you? You sound like you're having a temper tantrum.

In any case, it's not my fault they're stupid.
If they would all just do what the Salon owner did, we'd be done with this shite.
quote:Salon owner is a hero. That this person is too cowardly to stand up against government overreach doesn't make the salon owner not a hero.
“To say that we’re going to break rules, be a filibuster and be some hero because of it
By the way. Sheesh, the whole "some say" thing is such a fricking idiotic rhetorical approach. There is literally nothing in this world you can't write AFTER the words "some say".
It's a meaningless rebuttal and you know it.

You gotta love the "some say" fallacy that so many in the media and morons like t-horn use.

Did you really boldface "so effing what"?
Yes
Because "some say" is an irrelevant rebuttaly.
For example, you could write "some business owners strongly support her actions as a hero" and it would be equally true.
Hence, rhetorically irrelevant.

I’m not the one starting threads losing my shite because a lady is just trying to make a living, Karen.
You might want to take a look in the mirror, check yourself there.

Whose edict caused her to be fined in the first place? The governor's.
Notice how he left the fines in place so Lt Gov Dan Patrick could virtue signal and pay it for her (uh huh).
Who is going to pay the money for the others who were fined, like the hairdresser in Carthage? Where's the equal protection of the law in that, loosely speaking? Gov. Abbott is going to cause this poor lady who just wanted to work to have to pay hundreds of dollars in fines.
