Judges in Dallas County have rebuked the state's top legal officer amid the controversy surrounding a Dallas salon owner.
In a letter to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, 12 civil district judges called Paxton's letter to Judge Eric Moyé "inappropriate and equally unwelcome." The rebuke was in reference to Paxton's letter calling the sentencing of Shelley Luther outrageous.
quote:
"As a current Member of the Bar, you certainly should be aware of the impropriety of this contact, as prohibited by Canon 3(b)(8) of the Texas Code of Judicial Conduct," the letter to Paxton stated. "In this context, for you to "Urge" a Judge towards a particular substantive outcome in this matter is most inappropriate and equally unwelcome. Please do not communicate with the Court in this manner further."

I woulod expect nothing less from the pieces of utter shite that are judges in Dallas county.
They are probably carbon copies of that "apologize to the government" cocksucker.
Why should we give a shite?

They should list the names of every crooked judge supporting that guy and run ads against them

Well, let’s look at what they cite. Remember what “shall” means (a directive).
quote:
A judge shall accord to every person who has a legal interest in a proceeding, or that person's lawyer, the right to be heard according to law. A judge shall not initiate, permit, or consider ex parte communications or other communications made to the judge outside the presence of the parties between the judge and a party, an attorney, a guardian or attorney ad litem, an alternative dispute resolution neutral, or any other court appointee concerning the merits of a pending or impending judicial proceeding.

This is the judge, if you haven't seen him.

Pretty sure the governor and AG can overrule the local leaders and judges

So yes, you do agree with rogue judges.

Dallas County is now like any major urban city county in America. It is left to hard left. Those kind of judges can get elected in perpetuity. It is the fundamental transformation of America so desired by the left. They are working hard to turn Texas blue.

Our unemployment numbers can go up 12 more at this point and I'd be cool with it.

County administrative judges, yes. Judicial judges... no.

They can get elected but getting perpetually slapped down by the state can cause them problems.
19th JDC might not be able to toss Trudy White because she is elected but various ethics issues sure sidelined her for a period of time.
