And here’s the Texas AG.

And he is the Attorney General isn't he? A republican political office holder has to read lightly in Travis County. Back in the old days Kay Bailey Hutchison and Rick Perry were indicted. Too bad Republican DA's don't stick it to the democrats. But Republicans don't play like that.

The Public Corruption Unit somehow ended up getting housed in the bluest of blue counties in Texas.

If it were based out of Bumfrick, TX, instead, there wouldn’t be fishing expeditions against the likes of Perry, Tom DeLay, etc.

The primary argument on behalf of the Texas AG there would be that (1) he/the AG's office is not a party to and has no legal interest in the matter at the time of penning the letter; and (2) it is a role of the state AG to issue advice on various legal aspects of a matter as it pertains to state laws....unless of course the AG is a party to the matter, thus he/she cannot serve the role of independent legal advisement or opinion.

This will all end one day with war in the streets. Half this country wants it to turn into red China with them being the “Party” and the other half wants the nation to be free and still hold to the individual liberty past generations enjoyed
The only way to settle this is in the streets and one day it will.
I wish a solar flare would knock out all electrical power and communications for two years. Then we could actually settle this shite once and for all. When the lights came back on, only one group would be left.

I’m upset that the governor issued an order that contained criminal penalties (and Paxton’s office backed its enforceability and legality, right down the line), then blamed a judge for having the audacity of upholding his order.

Within 6 months, most of the blue population would be dead because they are incapable of producing their own food and/or live in dense urban areas that can’t be serviced if power were gone.

so what?

You are saying left wing prosecutor political hacks don't live in red counties? They are everywhere.

For your next thread go find 12 DU posters who are critical of Trump. It would be similarly riveting.

Do you believe sucking these peoples assholes dry everyday will grant you some kind of favor with them? Or is communism your ideology by choice?

This doesn’t preclude the ag or gov from telling this judge he’s a stupid fig, the judge is supposed to ignore it.

What’s your point ?

The Attorney General is well known for sticking his nose in matters that are outside his lane.

Texas AG helps donor fight Colorado coronavirus lockdown

In my opinion, he’s acting in cahoots with this woman’s lawyer, who is a member of the state’s GOP executive committee.

I guess that would lend him some interest in the case, but he’d never admit that because it would just show how slimy he is.

You're ignoring the fact the judge told her to kiss the ring and he wouldn't throw her in jail.
