I am still Team Massie.

When he voted with Biden he changed

When his wife died he changed.

He's an empty liberal now.

A grifter.

Not sure what he would need to do to lose your loyalty at this point.

Have we forgotten the infamous, "You won't have Nixon to kick around any more" speech? That was 1962.

What a true conservative!

Votes NO for funding border security, border wall, and ICE.

Votes YES for funding Massie!

Seems pretty consistent to me

Iran not having nukes was not the outlier politician campaign promise that he said just because he knew y'all wanted to hear it, it was the "no new wars" part that he threw out there with exactly zero intention of keeping it.

And look, dude, no offense, but you are the poster child for the part of the base who motivated him to say that shite.

I distinctly remember you being one of the many here having bought into, "When are you going to send your kids to die for a foreign country?" insufferable Huckster Carlson ninny bullshite. And that was in response to Biden having said he would use force to prevent Iran from getting nukes.

Massie isn't the only one doing a complete 180. At this point I'd say at least 70% of the MAGA base on this board has.

It's famous enough that it does count, unless you completely failed American history.

(And then it still counts...what doesn't count is your opinion since you don't know enough to comment).

In order to you have to understand populism.

There's only one rule in populism: Us vs Them.

Massie has become a visible member of "Them" to the MAGA cult. Now think about a cult. Think about what the response is when any cult leader identifies an interloper in the organization.

That's what Massie is to them.

And before some retard tries to invalidate what I said just because I used the word "cult," show me how I am wrong. How does a cult respond differently than the way MAGA is obsessed with Massie?

EDIT: Just to be clear, I don't care one way or the other about Thomas Massie in particular. I think Republicans getting primaried is a great and glorious thing. I think it should be happening to all of them. In fact, it should have happened around 40 years ago and instead of having abandoned conservatism for the cult of populism the Republican Party would still have a direction other than "Whatever Trump says." But better late than never, and even if it takes a cult leader to get it to happen, I'm glad it is.

He was voted out by his constituents because he opposed the president they elected to run the country. It's as simple as that. He's all bluster on the Epstein Files and all he stood for other than voting for democrat agenda items.

He lost by 10 points, So if you look at the swing from which he originally won by and then lost by, was a massive swing. No amount of outside influence was going to do that. He fricked himself chumming with Ro, and going all over liberal media. The voters were clear and spoke with the vote that he was done.

The country will be beset with hyperinflation. Massie could pull a Javier Milei on 2028.

In other words keep donating to me so I can keep up my lifestyle.

Massie said signed a pledge that he would only serve 3 terms, he was running for his 7th.
