Border Czar Tom Homan told CBS News that President Donald Trump is talking to his advisors about offering some form of “legal status” to many illegal migrants.

A pro-migration reporter at CBS asked Homan on Wednesday: “Would you support a compromise, sir, that involves giving legal status [amnesty] to the millions of people who are here illegally but are otherwise law-abiding?”

“I’m not gonna get ahead of the President on that,” Homan cautiously responded.

“I work for the President,” Homan added, as the Colombian-born migrant reporter interrupted him to insist that “Something has to be done to address that [illegal migrant] population, or is a solution to deport them all?”

The old guest worker Visa program we had before the mid-1960s work just fine but it was killed because of the unions

This is how America will fall. If these illegal aliens are not returned to their country of origin, America is done.

Oh, but the politicians will still be living large!!

Where did Homan actually say this? The dreamers came out of the interviewers mouth.

It would appear the US doesn't have the stomach for it.

He didn't. It's more demoralization tactics employed against MAGA voters.

To be fair, he has trotted out ideas like this a few times.

I'm aware. If we're both honest however, we know that's not why the CBS weasel is trotting it out there.

Wouldn't this render his EO on birthright citizenship largely irrelevant?

"This is how America will fall. If these illegal aliens are not returned to their country of origin, America is done."

Why do you believe this is so? I believe America to be far more resilient than this and capable of absorbing relatively large numbers of immigrants so long as the flow of illegal immigrants is stopped. In fact, I view the near-sealing of the border to be one of this administration's greatest achievements, and they did it remarkably fast. If anything, I would like to see fewer but "better" deportations, giving officials the time to focus on criminal elements and especially anyone with potential ties to terrorism.

Yep Minnesota proved that. People scream they want something done but complain about how it looks

So 'Unemployment' is not a consideration? Or a form of 'criminal' behavior in that they can vote themselves money from the earnings of those who daily leave their own children in order to earn a better life for said children?

There needs to be a much more comprehensive discussion re this subject. Sliding it through without totally informing the CITIZENRY of the whole cost/benefit dynamic is unwise at the least. And potentially Treasonous at its political core.

Let the talk begin. The truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Of course, he'll do whatever his biggest donors tell him to do. It benefits the country they're loyal to for us to be in a constant state of chaos and flux.

The problem is the stupid-high number of immigrants who immediately get on every available form of welfare they can, and never get off. This is compounded by cranking out a baby at the first available opportunity as they seek to latch onto the misbegotten 14A interpretation that their brood are now US citizens.

We have 100 million foreigners here AT LEAST! We need to sweep them all up à la operation wetback. It’s been done before and must be done again

What does liberal Tracy mean by the radical right?

Does not wanting deportations make you the radical left?
