Does it have its own abortion procedure room? This CA were talking about.

Seriously though, they could've built a tiny home encampment to house the same number of people for a fraction of the cost. Of course, then it wouldn't be a government project, now would it?

600k is nothing compared to the amount of tax dollars that will be needed to upkeep and even money launder.

Happiness and ignorance,
As long as he can pay the rent,
Until the day that freedom's gone.

Utopian society,
A welfare state for you and me,
Until the day that freedom's gone.

I feel the need to kill the seed,
To break away from this disease...

Should have asked medium income families to trade their homes for this . How idiots vote these decision makers into office is astounding

I thought the plan of this administration to combat homelessness was to allow Section 8 vouchers for vacant homes in the suburbs.

Amazon has a 2 person tent for ~$23. They could just buy 27,000 of them with $600,000.

They built these in the DT area of the Port City NC years ago. Very expensive and college students and the techie 20 year olds live there with mom and dad flipping the bill.

The projects remain vile. But the people that live in them don't care about bedbugs as long as their 72in screen TVs work... With caddie escalades in the driveway--that are used to go use the food stamps, and latest iphones in between Judge Judy and Judge Chrissy T. They get so stoned and drunk on cheap beer they don't GAF. 4 year olds wandering around with loaded guns.

The members of the housing authority collect nice paychecks, and the dem mayor is a real estate broker and grifts rents like a scumlord.

These high rises will be full of bedbugs in no time and no one will GAF. No one will break the cycle of fatherless families that are in the gangz. Or homeless veterans that are depressed beyond being a dealer... With lazy people fighting over who is the biggest trash-white or black.

If we can help the homeless by doing this, and there are no negative consequences, why wouldn’t we?

For years, I have thought NOLA should turn some of the vacant high rises on the East into homeless housing. I’m sure the leadership in the city couldn’t pull it off but it’s worth a shot to get them off the streets

So you're one of those MMT people who don't believe government debt really matters and should not be a consideration in policy or spending decisions. Money is essentially as real as fairy dust
