There is an uncomfortable number of downvotes on this. What’s wrong with you people
The Pope claims to be the Vicar of Christ and head of the church. His primary role, then, is to guide the church, not fight for civil peace among the non-Christian nations, though he is free to do so, as all Christians are.
There is also a problem with the Bible and the RCC itself historically teaching that war is sometimes needed. Popes have called for wars and crusades as well as violence against heretics, working in conjunction with Catholic-allied nations.
So no, not only isn’t it the Pope’s “whole purpose” to be anti-conflict, the RCC has promoted violence historically for what they believed were good and moral reasons.

All non-Catholic Christian religions are posers of Catholics
This is 100 percent false. Statements like that is why Protestants are sick and tired of Catholics. We can say it now. For 1500 years we couldn’t or Catholics would kill us. Church established by Christ my butt.
The atrocities committed by the Catholic Church only fall short of very few people/empires in human history.
Any Church that post images and statues of Semiramis and baby Tammuz is the Church Christ established. And the people now know it’s pagan imagery but yet are ok with it pretending that is Mary and Jesus but it’s not. And if the images with the circle behind the mother and child’s head is not Jesus and Mary it’s Semiramis and Tammuz. Semiramis worshiped the Sun hence the Sun reference behind their heads.
But tell me how authoritative the “earthly church fathers” were. Importing Pagan BS in the church.

It was actually, for lack of a better phrase, a play on words. In the original Greek, Petro (Peter) and petras (rock) sound very similar when spoken.
Yet you ignore the word harpazo - rapturus- caught up also known as Rapture.
Why did Christ call Peter, Simon Barjona when talking about who the “rock” is. He didn’t use Peter. Then just a few verses down calls Peter, Satan. So is he the true “rock” or Satan?

Retard.
What a true Catholic response.
Let me ask a question of you would you call a kid with down syndrome to his face a retard?
Twice you called me a retard in your reply with zero substance other than insults. If you knew anything at all about me you would know I’m a parent of 4 young men. That one of my boys is in fact a “retard” in your terms. He has an IQ of 52. I’m sorry the Holy Spirit doesn’t guide your tongue the right way but I’m not some weak minded person that words hurt my feelings. But may if you are an adult you shouldn’t use such childish insults especially when trying to disagree with someone yet you don’t have the intelligence to combat my clear biblical basis of theology.

I recommend anyone interested in this topic - pick up a copy of Pop Prophecy. It covers just about everything Dispensationalism, Zionism, the Scofield Reference Bible, the "pre-tribulation rapture", Israel, etc...
If you want to get caught up on pop prophecy of 40 years ago, you should definitely pick up this book.

So yeah, there is a lack of formal unity in Protestantism,
That's quite an understatement.
Even within your own Presbyterianism there is an astonishing divergence of Theological agreement. For example, one part of Presbyterianism preaches that homosexual couples and clergy who have active sex lives with each other can get to Heaven. Other parts of Presbyterianism preach the exact opposite.
Not to mention other Protestant sects who teach the exact opposite of one another with regard to, say, for example: The existence of the Holy Trinity.
So, here you are with more half-truths and distortions. Your own Presbyterian sect is broken into directly opposing pieces, but, you contend that this is some kind of "Unity" that Christ prayed for to the Father. It's not "unity" you say, but, maybe informal unity or some kind of invisible unity, and, for you, this fulfills Christ's prayer.
You are your own teaching authority. When you are your own teaching authority on what the Bible says, you can never be wrong, and other people who don't agree with you can never be right.

Thank God we have the Bible to teach us so we can see when someone has unbiblical views or positions.

I do believe people can be persuaded when they hold a wrong belief. In my experience, most clearly incorrect beliefs stem from not having read the Scriptures in their proper context for themselves. Ultimately, it comes down to whether someone is willing to test their beliefs against Scripture, many simply aren’t.
That said, there are some issues where we won’t know the definitive answer until the time comes, and that’s okay too, as long as we can clearly distinguish between beliefs that can be settled by Scripture and those that cannot.

You all keep putting globalist agenda centric popes in the role and criticizing their stupid statements is turning on Catholicism?

All of a sudden? I assume a typical day over at Healing Place or Parkview is just an all day, shite-on-the-Catholics fest. Is it not?
Church at healing place starts with the women lined up for Starbucks coffee in the church ramparts. Kids get dropped off at Sunday school/daycare. Adults listen to some vaguely Christian soft rock. A man who calls himself a preacher who is richer than most of his audience comes out dressed in high end semi casual clothes and a Rolex. He says God or Lord every 3rd word and delivers a speech about sharing wealth and God is good. There’s an idea of a prayer or two. Then someone comes down the aisle like the offering for Catholics but they have a Square card reader instead. Church lets out, adults chit chat and make themselves feel good about going to church every Sunday and how hard it is to dress in semi casual clothes and put the kids in church daycare so they can have a Starbucks coffee and listen to live music. The only punishment they face is the long arse traffic lines out of the parking lots

Big oof.
What percentage of Catholics think homosexuality is ok?
What a fricking embarrassing post with zero self-awareness.

The value of the Catholic Church's assets is not calculable, it's that high.

We all face the same potential punishment. It isn't here on earth.
