Move to Spectrum Mobile. Verizon network. 42 million+ hot spots that work seamlessly with their eSIM technology. Verizon coverage/towers. Half the price.

$30/month taxes/fees already included for a solid plan.

Mobile phone outages

Looks like Verizon for sure and T-Mobile, AT&T, straight talk, xfinity all having soaring customer outages.

Anyone else having issues?
I would never wear a shoe with a school logo on it as a fan. Never!!!

They all look like trash.

Some of the belts look nice but unless you are going to an alumni event nah.

Polos T’s and hat all good.
I’m just staying busy and getting old.

Ready for football season to see if we are a scrappy bunch. I don’t think this team is loaded with elite talent but has some hidden talent. I’m making no predictions on the season because I have zero clue how Brown and the OL will perform in the SEC.

I’ve been off the board for a while just focusing on other stuff. But I’ll be back more as the season goes along.
Brutal schedule. But they all are now in the SEC. I think with this staff and roster a 5-7 conference finish and second round of the ncaa would be solid. Sweet 16 would not be outrageous.

Just take care of his body and stay healthy. His game isn’t made for all tournaments but he can crank out plenty of wins

re: 6 weeks to go. Where are you?

Same as every year. Depends on our run blocking and pass protection and how our QB plays.

Both are questions in my opinion

Might as well say get off the field on 3rd down situations on defense
I would assume anyone not drafted in the top 3 rounds we could match the money for 1 year if the money men want to keep them.

High school kids are getting smarter about the minor leagues as well. Many are choosing to go the college route because prior to NIL anyone drafted in the top 10 rounds basically would go pro. Now if it’s not first or second round many go to college to develop. Might be better coaching in the SEC than rookie league or single A ball.
The mic man is a prestigious position at AU. It won’t be going away.

I agree the goofy DJ stuff can go. But it’s mainly for a demographic that I left 30+ years ago. It’s for the students. So let them vote on whether to keep it or not.
Just a governing body settling on rules for everyone. Limits on money procured through the universities. No NIL can come through playing for a certain school or from boosters. If the athletes can raise money without the NCAA, conference, or school branding then they can make as much as possible on their own.

Only money exchanged is a locked in amount per school. Thst number should be around 30m across all sports. Title IX probably will prohibit men’s sports from being funded more than women athletes.

re: So are you broken?

Not not broken. Football has always been cyclical in the Deep South. A couple teams goes up a couple goes down. Texas and Oklahoma will experience the same.
Just FYI for us baseball geeks.

Carson Skipper hung up the spikes this week.

Such a great middle relief guy for a couple years for us

Maybe! We shall see

I think it’s more a running back by committee approach.
Kodi doesn’t play around. No nonsense kind of expectations.
Definitely building for a solid future.

Next cycle we have to get some of the elite of the elite. We have of a bunch high upside projects in this cycle which is fine but our roster with this type class will be somewhere around 8-9 in the conference year over year. Need to be close to Top 5 unless we truly will out coach other teams which rarely happens.

Running back and OL are solid hauls. DL has the chance to be very good. WR lower middle SEC. LB good. DB a lot of bodies.

I need to watch a season of the offense at Auburn to judge TE. Are they glorified blockers, chain movers, or legit threats? I don’t know the answer to that
The numbers always find a way of working out.
Simmons is about 5’8”. He’s very small but a playmaker. I would be surprised if we took him but they may see something he brings to the table outside of their normal size profile.
quote:

My neck is 18.

You’re lucky. There are tons on the shelves of 18” with 34 sleeves

Not so many 21” with 33 sleeves. Every dress shite has to be fully tailored for me. I have had a massive neck as long as I can remember. Tiny head. At 20 years old 18” neck 6 7/8 hat. I weighed maybe 165. Now 21” neck with 7 1/8 hat size
Still it’s hard to look at the roster and the money spent the past few years and think we are still a few years away from having sec championship type talent. However next year if we have the right couple guys return that could go pro watch out. Big question will be do we go after a sure fire QB from the portal and risk losing some of the young guys.

Also I’m an optimist by nature and always know if the ball bounces our way this year could be good. But I fear not enough true talent on the OL and WR to beat the better teams
We have a good bit of solid players in this class which is needed.

But will say even tho our ranking is fairly high the quality is yet to be determined. There are a lot in our class that does have to be developed. But I’m so happy with the amount of bodies are taking on the lines of scrimmage. That is a must and to work in this system you need experience. So bringing guys in that will wait a couple years to be developed is a very good thing. And we aren’t breaking the bank for 6-7 players while the others are just afterthoughts
