We are gonna lose close to 30 players +/- a couple numbers. If we are gonna freak about non starters then it’s gonna be a long portal season. We turned over what 30 players last season when we didn’t even have a coaching change. Granted we can’t just move all USF players to AU but the QB and a couple WRs wouldn’t be bad maybe an OL or 2 and a couple defenders. The rest you better go get quality players from every where.

yall are crazy if you think we will carry 105 studs

Not me. I think we will be anywhere from 50-60 players getting paid. The top 15 players will probably suck up close to half of NIL value. The other 40’s will get solid money but not live changing money.

Then you will have about 50ish are mainly just scholarship players with probably 20’s getting about $1000 a month of some spending money.

If we can get that $30ish million every year in NIL for football (yes that number includes the rev share number) then we would probably be in the top 6-7 in the conference in available funds.

So at the end of the day it depends on if we can coach, scheme, execute better then teams that we are close to talent with.
To much pressure on the players to win games with a bad scheme. You get to trying to hard in some instances. I think that’s what affected Chaplin. Much like with Bo Nix when he was at AU he wanted to win to much and made mistakes trying to win instead of just doing his part

The Emeka situation seems so weird. Doesn’t looks like he has an injury. I wonder if they found some heart issue or head issue that was unknown.

Bashir is injured if I’m not mistaken. Blake is playing because he generally solid in defense and at least understands the defensive concepts.
I tho l the coaching has been fine. Effort isn’t always there. Way to much turnovers on offense. Defense is just bad. Not sure how to improve it with roster limitations. Maybe have to start playing a lot more drop coverage on the outside and if the other team shoots it good we will lose. Looking more and more like a .500 conference team if we don’t get better defensively.

Still pissed at jacking up 3s to get points under 40 seconds. Maybe no I in team but there is an M and E.

bullshite basketball in the last minute. Just run out the damn clock and go get better. Guess we suck so bad on defense we have try to pump up the offensive numbers to look like a decent team. Not sure I’ve seen a defense this bad since Bruce got to AU
Corch has never taken MK or any anabolic or SARM. Nothing more then creatine and protein

It does but he may come back. His price tag is more than his production. I don’t think Golesh wants a $7m WR room.
We need folks at every position group. I'd much rather land 20 SEC quality players then 2-3 big names and then have to settle for also rans at other spots. I'd imagine Byrum Brown is a lock to come unless he gets a Top 3 round draft grade which I don't think he will at this point. He needs to improve his accuracy just a bit.

no surprise at all there.

My comment was a joke but I use a cpap and mainly caused by my natural neck size. My neck was an 18 when I weighed 155 lbs. Now at 225 it's 20.5". I can't walk into Belk or even a men's warehouse and buy a shirt and tie that fits.
How can we possibly set a minimum win total when we have no idea what the roster is going to look like.

With incoming high school kids and then portal kids we are probably close to 50 new players on the roster. Since we can now have 105 on scholarship. So if we keep the 55 we want that is currently on the roster that's good but I doubt we keep all of the 55 we want we will lose some but can make it up in the portal. So let's get the roster set then I'll have an idea about expectations.
It’s all down hill after the old cpap comes out. Good on you getting that checked tho

I definitely like Porter more then Martin if for nothing more then experience.
So is Marcus hanging on because I think Kodi is a better WR coach. Or is Kodi going to move to TEs and Marcus stay at WR with Kodi over his shoulder?
Damn Golesh going crazy getting a damn solid staff together. If you keep Crime in an off field role I’ll say solid ground rule double for an initial staff at AU

I want to see how some of these USF offensive guys recruit in the SEC before I give that side a passing grade but it’s definitely an extremely young staff on both sides of the ball. Is DJ the oldest guy? And he’s in his 40s
Damn our Defensive staff seems pretty damn solid
Rocky that ain’t no MK677 for the old guy that’s test if I ever seen it

They need nothing else. Just dedication and work ethic
