Melendez will stay at AU as long as Durkin is here and he will be draft eligible after next season. Durkin also puts him in spots to make big plays same with Atkins. If you’re a linebacker you’d be an idiot to not want to play under Durk. Because he’s gonna make you look like a superstar.

Don’t fall for the extra $500 and risk your draft stock. Melendez will be rated high but definitely shouldn’t go through the combine. He will run slower then expected and shorter then what he plays. Just let your film speak for itself and be very prepared for the in person interviews. Could definitely land in the top 3 rounds.

X will be faced with the same stuff undersized LB that is great in pass coverage and pass rush. So don’t go through the combine unless it’s only to run the 40.

It’s not OL vs QB. It’s both. When the OL is bad they are horrendous. When BB is bad he’s garbage.

I will give the OL coach a tip of the cap tho. Brown going into yesterday’s game had the longest time to throw the ball in the conference at 3.5 seconds. While thr conference average is 2.4 seconds.

Not to get carried away because our OL blows many one on one matchups and not because of scheme or technique they just aren’t as good as the DL players they are going up against. Especially on the interior. But when Ramil is by far your best o lineman your have problems. When it’s an obvious passing down pressure is in BB’s lap almost immediately. Thats why we thing BB has no time at all because we get blown up in obvious passing downs.

We can bitch and moan about this and that but until you can play winning football on both sides of the line of scrimmage you aren’t winning many games and that’s where we are.

Thankfully at this point I think Huddy and VKW are good coaches.

The only coach I want gone right now is Banks. Our safeties are always out of place. They have regressed as tacklers and in coverage. Maybe the strength coach man we look weak as frick. Weak and soft. Most violent football team my arse

We finished 6-4 in 2020 and if we add the normal cupcakes we win 9 games. Granted everyone was tired of competing for an SEC championship every 3 years.

Biggest issue I have with coaching is Golesh rolled the dice on all the USF transfers for continuity and its failed miserably.

Brown gives us the most chance to win but do need to see Tia some. I don’t think Tia is ready but need to see more. Definitely has a huge arm but can’t see the field but you don’t learn that in a VR as much as coaches love those things
