Growing up, the phrase "If you didn't do anything wrong, you've got nothing to worry about" was often repeated.

Took me a while until I realized how profoundly wrong and dangerous that way of thinking can be.

Especially in a FREE country.

Black Lives Matter seems bothered by illegal imprisonment - perhaps you should join that group?

None of Trump’s charges are “talking shite.” All of the charges are bullshite, but mischaracterizing them isn’t going to help the situation either.

Did you ever hear of the saying show me the person and I'll show you the crime?

Might not be an exact quote but you get the idea.

People do get locked up because they piss the wrong person off. In today's society where there are so many laws that people have never heard of, it is easier and easier to find some process crime that is rarely prosecuted to charge someone with.

And I'm sure you heard that ignorance is not a defense.

Key is to just not piss off someone in the government or someone with friends in the government enough.

NC…

quote:

A federal judge has warned former US President Donald Trump against making "inflammatory" statements which could taint the jury pool ahead of his trial for conspiring to overturn the result of the 2020 election.

But Judge Tanya Chutkan ruled that Mr Trump can publicly share some of the non-sensitive evidence which prosecutors disclose to his legal team.

"He is a criminal defendant. He is going to have restrictions like every single other defendant," she said.

"The fact that the defendant is engaged in a political campaign is not going to allow him any greater or lesser latitude than any defendant in a criminal case."

LINK

Meanwhile, this is what Chutkan is dealing with from Trump’s supporters.

quote:

Abigail Jo Shry, 43, of Alvin, Texas, allegedly called the chambers for U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan and left a voicemail message on Aug. 5, promising to "kill anyone who went after former President Trump," according to an affidavit.

"You are in our sights, we want to kill you," Shry allegedly said. "Trump doesn't get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you, so tread lightly, b****."

"You will be targeted personally, publicly, your family, all of it," the voicemail continued.

The affidavit said Shry used both the N-word and "slave" to address Chutkan, who was born in Jamaica.

This isn’t someone talking shite, brother. This is a level of crazy that people dealing with trump has to manage. She’s giving Trump latitude to share some things, but he can’t just go say whatever he wants to. Hard to blame anyone for not wanting to give tnis man complete freedom to rile up some in his base.

The RNC is controlled opposition. The Uniparty is in firm control now. One party states are known to purge with impunity. You're only seeing the beginning, now.

a. Just so we're clear, this means every small town LEO b/c they're "someone in the government"

b. You don't have to piss off local LEO for them to illegally imprison and/or kill you.

You’ll fight until bankruptcy, then you lose either way. Your attorney will then donate part of the fee you paid to the democrat party.

This is true, but the fact that your disappearance wouldn’t even be a blip on the radar is a reason it wouldn’t happen. None of us (as far as I know) are important enough for someone to care to come after

Your problem: everyone that can fog a mirror watched Gore do what Trump did in 2000, Hillary in 2016, Abrams in 2018.

If Dems win in '24, just watch them ramp up their efforts to silence anyone not supporting their ideas. I believe they will progress from censoring conservatives on social media to actually interacting with them. They will label opposing views "conspiracy" or "hate speech" and actually punish folks.

Actually that is EXACTLY what it is.

Meanwhile, tell the "not someone talking shite" business to Kavanaugh.
Tell it to Scalise.
Tell it to Lee Keltner.
Tell it to Aaron Danielson.
SMH.

She also referred to it as his "day job". Her failure to assimilate this case as being different than "any defendant in a criminal case," disposes her as judicially deranged. Her refusal to recuse establishes her as ill-equipped in judgement for the bench under any circumstances, and certainly in this case.
