Good pitchers give up home runs because they are always around the plate. Catfish Hunter used to give up a bunch but mostly solid jobs and they usually don't beat you

If the score is not 7 - 0 Skenes probably does not throw the heater.

1/2 with 1 HR 1 Run and 1 RBI will always be that the hitter won. Even 1 for 4 with 1 HR 1 Run 1 RBI is a win by the hitter.

Surprise surprise. One of the greatest players of all time won against a rookie pitcher.

3-2 pitch. Went down. The middle.

Was Skenes crying when Ohtani crushed that?

I bet you couldn't hit off of Paul Skenes. You would be the one crying. Lol

@Deltatiger
Ohtani went 2/3 against skenes. 3rd ab was a single in the 5th.

Yeah, you're up 7-zip. But you can't keep on grooving smoke down the pipe and not expect someone like Ohtani to time it (unless those AB "fastballs" are only 93 MPH and you both have your HR bet in #Vegas X-D )
