re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
Yes have seen signs they want to open up the offense but werent confident enough that the oline or offense could execute it. I want to see this team have a pass first offense out of the shotgun and less QB under center. More mis direction in the run game as well...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
So far its been a mixed bag. Going to have a lot more to work with in 2019 so we will see. If we go run first and dont open it up in 2019, Ill be the first calling for a new OC just like I was after the 2015 season. ...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
Nope. We've had this conversation. That play should have at least been reviewed and it looked like a fumble to me. The PI on Greedy was bull shite. But, LSU had many, many oppurtunities to win the game before any of that.
yes there are many plays that affect a game throughout a game ...
We will just have to agree to disagree then.
what about the catch and fumble that was ruled an incompletion. Do you say that was a good call also? you know, the one where the A&M receiver catches the ball, turns upfield, runs two steps, gets hit and fumbles, and LSU recovers, ga...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
What i found more maddening was the 4th ot where our defense gets a stop. We run the ball and kick a fg. The very next possession we run a hb pass and score. Why ,in gods name, didn't we try that when the game was on the line?
It is easy to say that after the play has been run a...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
We've seen LSU players pick up a fumble with one hand and run with it.
right because they had it in one hand and were running with the ball, they had possession of it. If another LSU player had hit Mond a split second after his knee had left the ground, while just grasping it by ...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
I think it does if the player doesn't bobble the ball or if the ball doesn't move. We've seen LSU players pick up a fumble with one hand and run with it. That would be immediate possession to me.
mond just had it by the nose of the football when his knee left the ground. He had st...

re: Michael Divinity’s response to Kellen Mond on twitter - boxcar willie
He did touch the ball when his knee was down, true, I just don't understand how that makes him down and the play stop. He fumbled the ball, reached down and touched it and regained possession after his knee left the ground. Am I missing something here? Normally if you fumble the ball, the play d...

re: LSU 2018 offense was one of the most productive in the last 10 years - boxcar willie
Yes here we are and its not such a bad place to be. Best finish to a season in 7 years, excellant recruiting class, and in position for even better things to come. Thank you Joe Alleva, thank you coaches Orgeron, Aranda, Ensminger and staff and all the behind the scenes personel who make this machin...

I'm not really that concerned about the 2012 season (did I insult it somewhere or something?). why are you bringing it up? I think we should have been ranked higher than #12 in 2012 for what its worth to you. ...
Moral victories can count when we’re comparing 10-3 teams
they count when comparing the relative strength of a team in a particular season to the other teams. Im not saying 10-3 is better than 10-3 just that #6 is better than #12. ...
Our 2012 season we were also the top ranked 3 loss team.
in 2012 we were ranked #13th. (and one of those 3 losses weren't an overtime loss on the road against a tough SEC foe decided by the refs so the pollsters apparently (and rightly so) looked the aTm loss as not that big a dea...

re: LSU 2018 offense was one of the most productive in the last 10 years - boxcar willie
Please explain how." 2015 was vastly more productive than 2018" is a half truth?
I don't see 33ppg/437ypg as "vastly more productive" than 32.4ppg/402ypg if that is the case then 2016 once Ensminger took over (32ppg/464ypg) was vastly more productive than 2015 ...
