Even with all of that, there’s zero evidence that there was a conspiracy by the administration or DOJ to lock parents up on false charges of domestic terrorism

“We attended school board meetings, often facing unjust treatment,” Justice said. “Parents were expelled, their mics were cut off, and many were prevented from speaking.”
Several Republican lawmakers expressed empathy with the parents, including Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, who noted that the FBI investigations failed to find any criminal activity.
“According to the FBI, not one of these school-board-related investigations resulted in federal arrests or charges,” Hunt said. “Not a single one.”
No arrests. The “intimidation” sounds like the FBI doing fact finding after an activist school board caused an uproar across the country for trying to get the federal government to intimidate parents. The FBI made phone calls as they would be tasked to do in any investigation.
The issue here is the local school board and a continued polarization across the entire political spectrum.
The administration looked into it, states called it out. On a federal level, everything worked. The republic in action. The greater issue is that a school board falsely represented upset parents as threatening, promoting some form of investigation. Did they reach out to the White House because they thought they would find a sympathetic ear? Yes.
But the White House didn’t initiate it. The DOJ and Cordona didn’t ask for this preemptively to arrest parents that were ideologically different. The original contention in this thread was wildly off base, even if some level of frickery was taking place.

No, it’s not, you simpleton.

Lmfao the FBI let them delete over 30k emails in an attempt to obstruct justice and didn’t do jack shite about it. You people are fricking pathetic. It’s a literal fact they colluded to fabricate the Steele dossier and push the Russia scam. I know your preferred media outlets probably didn’t report on that but it all came out during the Mueller “investigation”

Something you won’t ever have to deal with being a POS leftist. You can go burn down autozones and they’ll cheer you on. We can’t go to school board meetings and protest against them teaching 4th graders about tranny sex without the feds showing up at our doorsteps

If you commit crimes you should go to jail just like anyone else. No one should be above the law.

quote:Yeah, it is. When the government is trying to silence people through jailing (J-6 protesters) or intimidation, it's still a strong arm tactic.
No, it’s not, you simpleton.
Fact is they labeled parents as 'domestic terrorists.' That's not just name-calling. That is a precursor to what they deem to be lawful arrests, or threats thereof.

Congress and Lafayette Park are two VERY different locations with VERY different laws.
Lafayette Park was designated an extension of the WH perimeter, no different than the Capitol Hill grounds on J6. The difference was in the success of perimeter defense in each instance, the differential amount of violence, and the number of law enforcement injuries.
SS succeeded holding pat in Lafayette Park. CHP failed d/t meager deployment options on J6. LP on the other hand was far more violent, destructive, and yielded more law enforcement injuries compared with J6. LP also yielded more property damage, including arson.
Now then, back to the juxtaposition, 150+ arrests after LP, >1000 after J6 ... and with far heavier sentences

They said it was because of 'threats,' and yet:
quote:You interpret that for me, though, since you're so knowledgeable.
Neither the DOJ press release nor Garland’s memorandum gave any details of the purported threats.

I don’t have to interpret it, it’s right there in front of you. At no point did the administration or anyone in it label the parents as domestic terrorists.

The OP gets it.
Canceling who they hate is just step one. That is now accepted and encouraged in many settings. Fleecing and jailing is next. Want to know what comes after that?

Yeah, they did. In the memo you didn't read, they said they'd respond to (unspecified) 'threats' by applying the domestic terrorism laws. They called it part of their 'National Strategy for Countering Domestic Terrorism.'
They don't have to literally say 'you are domestic terrorists' for them to have designated parents as such. Dumb fig.

Good point. BLM violent offenders have the POTUS and VP starting go fund me campaigns to release them. NY is now paying the ones that actually were arrested.
Your cute gotchas never seem to pan out in clown world.
