How dare you question the accuser of Google? You are disparaging whistle blowers everywhere. Why are you encouraging and supporting corporate greed culture. Why are you attacking all victims of enron and Bernie Madoff?

Yesterday I would have disagreed but if that memo is real Google is getting Ma Belled.

Whataboutism that isnt relevant. Nice. Does that mean you now believe the Accuser dr. Ford since you believe this accuser? See how stupid that is?

What whistleblower? I sure haven't seen one in this case
I bet you thought your response was really intelligent.

The amount of mental frickery going on here is outstanding.
Seems the same batch of folks up in arms about government intrusion into the net over the net neutrality debate are all now calling for government intrusion, of special note are the dipshits who think they have free speech rights with a private company that provides a free service.
Google is free to sensor WTF it wishes to, if you have an issue with it use a different search engine, the shareholders will demand change soon enough if revenue drops.

Lol. You dont understand monopoly. Also, searching is a free service. Don't you just know when you're devoid of a point enough to just stop talking?

But IS Google a private-owned company, or do they sell public shares?

Basically this is my point to Americans wanting to fundamentally change our system of government. Don’t like it? Move someplace more to your liking. No need to ruin it for everyone else.

I would just like to point out that Google and other companies were huge proponents of net neutrality because supposedly it would prevent companies from doing exactly what Google wanted to do at precisely the same time.
Maybe Google was lying about the reasons for support.

This is the point that captain obtuse and his sidekick retard boy refuse to acknowledge. The question really isn’t whether this censorship is legal. It’s about being ideologically consistent, and being honest with your users.

The extension of my point is that everyone was selling net neutrality as a tool to prevent this kind of behavior yet the company's most for it also wanted to engage in his behavior. kind of makes you think they were lying about what net neutrality would do in their minds

Yeah. I don’t want to make Google change the way they do business.
But they need to be honest about it.
We require labeling for all sorts of industries. Maybe just have a label on Google’s homepage. “We’re mostly queer and we hate you if you drive a truck.” Something like that.

I was lambasted for calling this a free speech issue. This memo proves, very clearly, that this is a free speech issue.

Google needs to have the Ma Bell treatment...time to break it up...
Posted on 10/10/18 at 7:03 am to Ebbandflow
When free speech is the issue on a communication platform then it should be discussed.
Google is becoming too big much like Ma Bell did. Once you influence over 90% of internet users and are in a unique position as the gatekeepers of information, have admitted to political bias, and at the same time covering up data breaches in fear if regulations, it's time

In it's own way, this seems as huge as the FISA memo. If you think downstream, bigger even.

Sounds like your problem is related to net neutrality.. take it up with the FCC. You won't find any support outside of Q larpers and infowar shills though.
