I'm just asking that you take fictional works with more grains of salt. How about them apples?

If McDonalds can control what content people see and don't, and effectively remove things from the menu (as they admit in the memo they can and do) they should not be policing, have standards, have positions to justify, or sign posting things. Unless they are legally required to. But it's not a legal issue. It's their own definition of delicious food, or whatever leaning they privately decide. They are entirely deciding what is "delicious" and "disgusting". Some small group of people in an office on San Jose. Do you not see the problem?
don't like how google optimizes their products? use a different one.

please tell me how it's possible to operate a useful search engine without censoring content

Google does not own its search results.

the point of a search engine is not to deliver you the most popular information.
for example, "donald trump paid to piss on russian hookers.com" shouldn't show up as a result on the first page just because some random kid on his phone decided to botnet and make it so.

How so? By showing you how this entire thing is unsubstantiated and more than likely made up by Breitbart?

You are rapidly becoming one of the most annoying little shits on this board. Google is censoring conservative content and promoting liberal content. They are admitting to it, and all of your bullshite parsing doesn't make it anything other than what it is.

And yet the only "proof" is from conservative fake news sources. Seems like it's not working so well after all.

if what you said was true i would agree with you. it's not though. unless you think racism and misogyny are exclusively conservative traits (actually.. )?

Of course not. But they own the phonebook and choose how and what information is displayed.

This is one of the most moronic displays in PoliBoard history. And that's really saying something. It is blowing my mind how dumb y'all are

Their proof is actual excerpts from an internal Google briefing and video of Google employees talking about it. That's stronger provenance than most news stories. Its not like any of the "approved" media outlets you prefer are going to cover this story, which is sort of the crux of the problem isn't it?

Yep. And they are choosing to discriminate based on political ideology.

It’s actually pretty impressive. These guys manage to come up with this stuff and stick to it day after day.

Alleged briefing. Only Breitbart has it, supposedly. A notorious fake news source.

No. The premise of your argument is not based in reality. You are just basically saying that you will base your entire reality of what is fact on something you have zero proof of. Not to mention that if it was so egregious and all of your information was being so censored that you wouldn't even be able to read those things.
Sorry but there are way too many people that are misinformed, like you, for me to believe that Google has done it any effective job at censoring
