The 22nd Amendment was ratified in 1951. Before that, there was no limit; just a tradition of two terms. No dog in the hunt, just saying.

andy ogles is among the dumbest members of congress and crooked as a snake. read up on him. he lies about everything - his education, his job experience as an economist and, most laughable, in international law enforcement fighting child sex trafficking, all disproven by nashville news 5 among many others. his home was raided this fall regarding campaign finance violations.
this isn't conjecture, i grew up with him

I'd use this bill as leverage to discuss limits for Congress and the Senate.

Way past time to have that conversation. 10 years max.

Not very American

unless you hate FDR

either give this to the Executive branch

OR

TAKE IT AWAY from the Judicial and Legislative branches

SCOTUS actually COLLUDED with the Legislative branch to allow for 2/3 of the "balance of power" that our founders intended

quote:

Thornton, 514 U.S. 779 (1995), is a landmark U.S. Supreme Court decision in which the Court ruled that states cannot impose qualifications for prospective members of the U.S. Congress stricter than those the Constitution specifies. The decision invalidated 23 states' Congressional term limit provisions.

term limits on POTUS are (or should be) UNCONSTITUTIONAL unless they are applied to the other 2 branches of government

also; the PEOPLE are supposed to be allowed to decide

this is worth litigating

come at me SPL, Boozie, or any other "legal expert" up in here

Do you realize how unlikely it is that it passes. It likely won’t even make it to the states for ratification.

This is just unnecessary and causes some people to never buy into what good he is actually doing.

I for one am all Trump but he needs to settle down and stay away from opportunities at negative press.

This is dumb. You’re playing right into the claim that he will be a dictator. Stop it.

If it ties in Congressional terms, it might be worth it.
