Love the workplace environment and coworkers, tolerate the actual work.

I tolerate it. Don’t love it. Don’t like it. Don’t hate it.
It’s shift work. I work 2 weeks a month. Lot of arse time and playing on my phone while at work.
Very repetitive, but I don’t do the job to get a rise out of myself. I do it for my family and to support them to give my kids the things my family couldn’t afford while i was growing up.
Well said. I don’t live at the site as much as some. Some people are money hungry, but that’s out. I’d like to see my kids grow up and not miss much. I don’t value money as much as some do. It’s important for our lifestyle, but it doesn’t take massive amounts of OT to cover that.

Between like it and love it.
Was firmly in “tolerate it” for the first 3-5 years of my career. Shifting into management really changed things for me.

love every single day because it's never repetitive. work in a fast paced, well paying and creative industry where our work is seen by millions world wide (not always a good thing).
Not to mention different co-workers every few months

I tolerate my job right now. I retired from the military and made some fortunate financial decisions so I dont have to work. I'm not even sure why I go to work every day...maybe routine. I told my wife I will be done working anytime between tomorrow and 4 years from now. I am 43 and do real estate field appraisals.
My wife is a nurse and she loves where she works. She wouldn't take a 20% pay increase to switch employers.

This is sort of my case. Been in family business my whole career and we just sold it.(My dad still owned it all so I didn't really reap any benefits of the sell)
Well now I am stuck working for someone else in a job I don't love. Probably about to do something really drastic, lol

very tight deadlines, have to count on a lot of people, and very big money at stake. the slightest error could be catastrophic.
I’ve heard it can be stressful getting that order out the window in 30 seconds or less.
And I wouldn’t call forgetting the fries catastrophic.

I work in a lab. Can't take work home with me.

I'd rather not work at all so every job I've ever had has been tolerable for me. I didn't have the talent to make it to the NBA so nothing else is enjoyable to me as playing basketball.

I work for a non profit, and when I first started here it was about helping people.
Then we made bad decisions, and now it's about making money. I don't enjoy it like I did. It's become a grind instead of a lighthouse.

I tolerate it. Theres nothing I could do to make more money without putting in more time. I look at it as a means to do the things I really like..

Tolerate the work
Love the flexibility/pay
ETA: What I currently do isn't super fulfilling, but I get to work from home and I make a solid salary.

Funny, but the best time to work is when you don’t have to work. Your perspective may change when you get to that point.
