Okay that explains it. All of my products go through Atlanta. It's the largest hub for the South. I try to buy from other locations when possible. But too far Northeast I hit the same problem. And anything from California is almost guaranteed to take almost 2 work weeks

Not an option. My packages come by envelopes.

Why is mail moving so slow.

Posted by volod on 8/27/20 at 10:06 am
It's ridiculous that mail is taking up to 9 days to arrive (versus the usual 5 to 6. Even USPS priority is taking 3 days+ in some cases.

And before you say it, you can not always purchase some products on Amazon. Some merchants only offer products on their store and your at the mercy at whatever shipping they use.

I understand Trump has a mission for the USPS, but I don't really think taking away their equipment was the best move. Unless there is some proof that mail is deliberately being mishandled in certain states, why are we doing this?

What we are seeing is modern-day book burning. The “silent majority”, if we are even that anymore, has been silent for far too long. We’ve allowed these entitled life-long losers to dictate the direction of our country. How many of these police shootings have to be proven justified before the media will drop the narrative? I’m sick of reading shite like this. Every single day there’s some new way that a white man has victimized some minority, and a new reason we are supposed to feel like shite.

Getting a taste of what Blacks and other minorities have faced since before the 1970s?

This country, for centuries, has allowed terrible things to happen to people of ALL walks of life. It's sad but this is not the first or last time these events will occur.

For some of us, this is sadly our reality. Some of us know that the justice system will always be against us. I'm sure I'm not the only American who feels that way.

Look. Personally I wish this never happened.

How about a clue as to why? I watched season 1 & figured 2 would be typical Hollywood garbage.

They are introducing a new character Stormfront. It will be a woman instead of a man. She is a Nazi (as in a REAL Nazi) but she uses social media and celebrity status as a way to push her ideology on people.
Im serious. I think the recent controversy as well as other things going on it our country have left people feeling disturbed.

The next season of Amazon Primes show The Boys, will provide a different perspective and if what I'm reading is any indication, you all will love it.

So for those of you who don't know, I encourage you to watch it.
Well, if we're only talking about shootings, that's one thing. However, even Blacks with no criminal record do get stopped more often compared to their white counterparts. And the rate of discovering contraband does not justify the rate of interactions. Ill link a study.

Creating this resource has been marked by challenges. Some states don’t collect the demographic information of the drivers that police pull over. States that do collect the information don’t always release the data. Even when states do provide the information, the way they track and then process the data varies widely across the country, creating challenges for standardizing the information.

Data from 21 state patrol agencies and 29 municipal police departments, comprising nearly 100 million traffic stops, are sufficiently detailed to facilitate rigorous statistical analysis. The result? The project has found significant racial disparities in policing. These disparities can occur for many reasons: differences in driving behavior, to name one. But, in some cases, we find evidence that bias also plays a role.

Obama did? Can Trump take over for these towns with terrorist DA's?

He could. But should he?

Most of you call yourselves conservatives but when times are tough you act like liberals. Expecting intervention from the federal government.

Your okay with conservatism when it's beneficial to you.

Trump is probably assessing this on two fronts. He is a Republican President, so he has to at least favor conservative values of state when necessary. States should be the ones putting down riots like this, not the federal government. Trump knows that it's mostly left leaning places rioting, so he isn't losing much from an election perspective.

If you really believe in "states rights" (which most on here actually don't, it's just a convienent reason). Then you have to acknowledge all states ARE NOT going handle things the same way.

Peurto Ricans are Americans. Fine. Let’s get these facts correct.
Now admit that a person with a penis is a male and that a person who makes millions of dollars playing a sport is not oppressed and that a brokedick hillbilly is not privileged.

I'm not extremist. All of those things are true.

I will admit there is a difference between speaking for those who are oppressed and actually being oppressed.

Because you all are Trump supporters so naturally you probably care about his family.

I only bring it up because I thought you might care.

No. The opposite. Just providing facts. This might be last post on here. And I want it to at least be a factual one. Puerto Ricans technically are American citizens. They don't require nationalization like other groups.

Puerto Ricans ARE Americans

quote:

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) took Donald Trump Jr.‘s girlfriend to task for calling herself a child of immigrants and a “first-generation American,” claims are only partially true because while Guilfoyle’s father was from Ireland, her mom was from Aguadilla, Puerto Rico and therefore, a U.S. citizen.

quote:

The woman the GOP picked as their ‘proud’ Latina ... didn’t seem to know that Puerto Rico is already part of the United States,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote on Twitter Tuesday morning.

quote:

AOC, a firebrand lawmaker with roots on the island, noted that Puerto Ricans have been U.S. citizens by birthright for more than a century.

quote:

“It reflects their belief that Latinos aren’t real citizens,” wrote Ocasio-Cortez, who is cruising to reelection for a second term representing chunks of Queens and the Bronx.

From the Wiki

quote:

On 2 March 1917, the Jones–Shafroth Act was signed, collectively making Puerto Ricans United States citizens without rescinding their Puerto Rican citizenship. In 1922, the U.S. Supreme court in the case of Balzac v. Porto Rico ruled that the full protection and rights of the U.S constitution do not apply to residents of Puerto Rico until they come to reside in the United States proper. Luis Muñoz Rivera, who participated in the creation of the Jones-Shafroth Act, gave a speech in the U.S. House floor that argued in favor of Puerto Rican citizenship. He declared that "if the earth were to swallow the island, Puerto Ricans would prefer American citizenship to any citizenship in the world. But as long as the island existed, the residents preferred Puerto Rican citizenship."[24] The Jones Act allowed locals to renounce the United States citizenship and remain exclusively Puerto Rican citizens, at the cost of being stripped of the right to vote.[25] At some point in time, 287 residents had formally done that.[25]

PR Citizen Wiki

By the way, you guys might want to do a check on Guilfoyle. Her personal history regarding relationships is very gold digger inclined. Don Jr. better be careful.

quote:

2001, Guilfoyle married Gavin Newsom, then a San Francisco city supervisor; Newsom was elected mayor of San Francisco in 2003. While married to Newsom, she went by the name Kimberly Guilfoyle Newsom. In January 2005, citing the strain of a bi-coastal marriage, Guilfoyle and Newsom jointly filed for divorce.[37] Their divorce was finalized on February 28, 2006.[38]

On May 27, 2006, in Barbados, Guilfoyle married furniture heir Eric Villency.[39] Guilfoyle gave birth to their son, Ronan Anthony, on October 4, 2006.[40] In June 2009, Guilfoyle and Villency announced that they were separating;[41] their divorce was finalized later that year.[42]

In May 2018, news leaked that Guilfoyle was dating Donald Trump Jr. while he was separated but still married to his wife, after the two attended an event together.[43] Guilfoyle had been friends with the Trump family for years.[44]

EDIT: the only point AOC is making is that Puerto Ricans are already Americans. So phrasing it as though Puerto Ricans are not Americans and need to be naturalized is a false perception. The are legally allowed to renounce citizen if they do choose, not the other way around.

A Puerto Rican, for the majority of legal purposes outside of voting, is as American as someone living in Wyoming. That's simply due to living in a territory.
If you don't like someone or a group of people, why do you care so much about what they do?

Thank you.

I know others don't like you. But you're okay in my book.

I understand that the OT is primarily an older demographic. As such, social media is a new concept.

We hear about things across the country sooner than local news. Combine that with the fact that many choose to live in only place, and you see a large disconnect between the what is nominal to them and the outside world.

Bull shite. There's nothing Marxist about Gen X. It's the Boomers that grew up "protesting" in the 60s and the current generation that seems obsessed with Communism.

The indoctrination comes from the education system, the entertainment industry, and the media(and social media).

Blaming Gen x for this shite is pretty stupid.

Marxism isn't really the problem. It's just used as the scapegoat for the underlying problems that capitalism has. And no, I'm not supporting Communism.

The issue is that despite attaining similar education levels as their parents, millennials are not seeing the job/economic growth of their elders (pre-Trump). And while Trump has improved this area, it has only been at tail end of the cycle (He's only been in since 2016).

Not being able to attain a similar prosperity to their parents has led to frustration that manifest in what we call socialist sympathies.

The truth is that we need to refine education and how much we spend on it. Capitalism is the best system, but like all systems it is subject to abuse. A brand new car will become faulty if not properly maintained, same goes for an economy.
We really need an independent contractor to come out and remake these classics.

Patreon and GoFundMe exist now. I think independent efforts are the only way we can preserve history.

You need to use a host like Imgur.

I don't use them as much because as already mentioned, they have a hit or miss when it comes to upload images.

The easiest way is to use the copy image feature on Google. However it's tough using that on mobile devices.
