Where are you on the scale?

I'm usually at tolerate it or hate it, depending on the company and coworkers.

this.

very tight deadlines, have to count on a lot of people, and very big money at stake. the slightest error could be catastrophic.

in my perfect job, my success/failure would entirely depend upon my own knowledge and abilities.

I like what I do. Getting a little bored with it after nearly 20 years though.

I'm a teacher and its a little of each. There are good and bad days. Sometimes, I'm ready to walk away and others I wouldn't want to do anything else.

I used to like it, until I was forced to move into a managerial role.

Now I'm planning for when I'm eligible to retire from where I am now (2-3 years), looking at other opportunities until I'm really ready to stop working.

My dad recently told me that he's loved every job he's ever had. I wanted to slap him.

But the only jobs he's ever had were air traffic controller, and business owner, so there's that.

Me too. Once my daughter is out of the house I may find something a little less stressful even if I make less money.

Love/hate

Love the potential, and core job.

Hate the bs that is out of my control as it goes higher up the chain. Which isnt much it can go as I report to a VP, but gets harder to show importance of pro-active needs.

Like it.

But I work to live. I don't live to work.

I firmly believe that you don't have to love your job to live a happy life. You just can't LOATHE your job.

That shite's not sustainable.
