Was thinking the same.. get all their gaudy shite out of it, start with the kitchen overhaul, smaller updates throughout, put in a pool, add on another million.

And upkeep is going to be hundreds per month.

Looks like the address is 17979 S. Harrels Ferry Road

$2.25 million for three bedrooms seems a bit excessive. That's $750k per bedroom.


ETA: That looks like a badass house in like 1980, and it hasn't been touched or updated since.

It is in the White Oak area of St. George. Several other big houses near it and nice subdivisions. Most of the land is low and along the Amite so it can't really be developed.

There are nicer, newer houses over there that have sold in the 1-1.5 range, just with less land. 10 acres of good land vs 10 acres if good land and 40 acres of swamps.

This is accurate. Beautiful piece of property with walking paths back to the Amite. The property is the parents of a family friend of ours.
