Which one of you young guys wearing the lsu T-shirt was in downtown Pensacola this week with your mom and dad buying another Rolex to add to your collection? Did you get the Batman?
Watched the sunset with a smoke and a four year willet

Just a home made pipe bomb some kids made years ago to blow up fish that never blew up.

Road trips. Van was real nice on long trips. Blankets, pillows, snacks, rented VCR tapes, and video games for the Nintendo.
Seemed like a cool guy when I met him a while back. Drinks at a closed for the night Kentucky speakeasy. Was a fun night

you are only thinking about how we currently see/understand distance and speed.

Telling a person in 100BC that he can talk face to face to someone on other side of the planet would not make sense as it would take a lifetime to travel that far. If he could even comprehend what the other side of the planet even means. Yet here we are today using facetime at any given moment to do so. No need to travel by foot, animal, boat to do it.

I don’t want to interrupt the nerd fest but the closest solar system to ours is over 4 light years away. Worm holes and string theory are non sense and IF by some miracle another civilization had the ability to create such a device then we are supposed to believe they are just friendly and curious? Ok. Even IF that were true which defies all logic and reason, they clearly aren’t stealth enough to defy being seen which is clearly their goal because supposed sightings almost always occur in rural areas by small numbers of people. If they didn’t care about being seen, sightings would occur in major cities by large numbers of people not grainy images or suspect video clips. No to mention, many of the stars in the sky are images of light that is millions of light years away, meaning the stars themselves have likely changed dramatically or burned through their fuel by the time their lights have reached Earth.

You are thinking and basing everything above with only the knowledge we have and understand.

Porch chill time. Shade and a breeze to wrap up the weekend

Been meaning to trek in over from Mandeville one of these weekends
I enjoy that funk it has. I even like the rye.
I haven’t had the 12yr but I would think the funk and richness would be elevated.
May have to try a pour at local establishment.

I just can’t justify $600 on a bottle.
Local Rouses still has a Willet 12yr purple top basket behind the counter. This is the third weekend its been sitting there. $600. Yikes.

I’ll have to settle for my four year purple top Willet. It’s very good none the less.

I'm so glad he didn't die in China. I knew he was going to die someplace but if it was going to be in China on that BS event, it would have been such a disappointing let down of his work over the years. China was for only 200k and was called Harry Potter

Dean was legend in his realm but could not recognize it. I think he really found himself when he re married and started to teach/show others how to do things. The kids especially. This gave him a purpose that he needed.

Loved the fact that the head Park Ranger became a climbing buddy

Skip all that Rolex nonsense. Seiko SPB143 for every day

And Grand Seiko for night out
