I hate just sitting on the beach but love hanging/staying in a beach town.

Mountain lodge. I just enjoy the mountains the most. Good fishing, Good hunting. Good hiking. Good camping.

Next would be a prairie house. I can see some of the appeal in the wide-open spaces. Last for me would be a beach house. I've just never been a fan of the beach.

Prairie is fricking miserable. Flat, windy, and usually reeking of cow shite.

Probably a beach house. You don't see many women wearing bikinis in the other 2 options.

My initial instinct is mountain lodge, but a beach house in the Monterey/Carmel CA area would be heaven. To afford one I must be rich af in this scenario, and it’s perfect weather year round.

They’ve done studies on the real estate market in California. To be able to afford beachfront property in SoCal, you would need to have a net worth of at least $5,000,000 or more.

I guess I'm in the prairie house now, my forever home on a small farm on the piedmont area of Virginia.

An hour to the bay / bit further to the beach, an hour to the mountains.

Mountain lodge is tempting. But after spending alot of time in the West this year, it get's pretty cool up in elevation during the summer. After mid-Sept it's gonna be windy and cold and stay that way until May. No thanks.

I’d want to be close to medical services and hookers. So a beach.
