In fairness, if you’re “in love” with someone, there has to be more to make you “fall out of love” than her looks. I’d blame her attitude more than her getting fat.

I disagree. I love my wife. If she got fat I’m leaving. It’s a question of values. Your values are not the same as mine. Now, you can always define “in love” as loving someone no matter what. In that case, you are by definition correct.

I know a guy that this happened to. he was kind of a dweeb but very smart and kind. They dated all through HS and college, got married. Suddenly she's got short green and purple hair and chubby and hes on a lot of dirtbike trips up north.
