Why is so hard for people to merge onto an interstate?

Just ran some baw off the road because he was trying to merge at 50 mph. Sorry I’m doing 75, its not my responsibility to slam my brakes to let you on. I suggest everyone to stay in the right lane near on ramps to teach some lessons. If you get over, they the easy way out and then end up fricking traffic during rush hour

Because they suck. It's the reason for 90% of the traffic problems on I-12.

It is if you’re in the far right lane. If you wanna do 75 in a 60, there’s a left lane just for you.

1) Drivers entering the highway usually wait until the last second to even start to look to merge. You shouldn't wait until the on ramp lane is about to end to even start looking
2) Drivers on the highway (3 lanes and above) treat the far right lane like it's a normal lane, which it isn't. It's for cars entering and exiting the highway
3) People try to merge on the hwy going well below the speed of traffic

Because people learn to drive when they're 15 and once they get a license their driving skills are never scrutinized without incident

Do feel better now? I’m sure they learned their lesson.
I’ll still get over. No need to risk an accident and I have more important things to worry about.

This is probably the one thing I road rage most about. I’m always yelling, “You merge with your fuqing accelerator, not your brakes! It’s the pedal on the right!” as I force floundering mergers into the grass.
