Agree. It’s the timid drivers who think they’re being safer that are generally the most dangerous.
My mom just hands me her keys now if we do anything together because her timidness freaks me out too much. She will randomly tap the brakes while driving on the interstate or something.. for absolutely no reason.

Yes, in the case that they sideswipe you, they are at fault. But by your admission, you're going 30mph faster, right? What's more likely to happen? Sideswipe or you rear ending them?

If you rear end me in the right lane at 75 mph while I'm merging onto the interstate, then you better have a really outstanding lawyer or great insurance.
I have front and rear HD dashcams and they'll show the police all they need to cite your dumbass for failing to yield, your insurance to deny your claim, and Gordon to skullfrick you.

What’s more likely to happen? I hold my horn down as I pass them by, roll my window down and flip them off as they slam their brakes and cry about not being able to merge because they are a stupid pile of shite who doesn’t understand how to merge.

It has to be a law for you to act safely/courteous.
Which would put the onus on merging drivers to adjust to prevailing traffic conditions since they have the duty to yield.

No... your dash cams will show that you failed to merge safely and caused an accident. Had you utilized proper merge techniques and had been paying attention to the traffic YOU were attempting to merge into, YOU would have been able to avoid causing the wreck that YOH caused.

Yeah, that's much easier than turning your wheel 3 degrees to the left for 2 seconds.
Like I said. Youre part of the problem.

Remind me... at an on ramp.... who yields to who?

I can't look at Snapchat and merge at the same time so you're just going to have to go around me

Know what’s even easier? Using that gas peddle and reaching interstate speeds BEFORE you attempt to merge

Maybe you should be in the faster lanes to the left?
Left lanes should be for passing they're NOT "fast lanes." Pass then GTFO! If people could just do this interstates would run so much smoother.
This morning on the autobahn I saw a fellow US driver come to a complete stop at end of on ramp nearly causing a pile up despite light traffic. I knew before I passed it would be a US plate.
I dread returning home

Short onramps, bad cars
Just move over.

The guy is acting like there's enough room on every entrance ramp to accelerate to 70 MPH.

I use the north street on ramp every single day. It’s one of the shortest in the city. Goes from ground level up to the raised interstate. I’m in a wrangler.
I somehow manage to reach interstate speeds to successfully merge TWO lanes of traffic in a big arse, slow arse Jeep.
You have a gas peddle. USE IT

I'm not the one merging in my post genius, read slower and better then try that again.

So you're admitting on a public forum that you intentionally ran someone off the interstate? Just want to get that clarification on here for all the prosecuting attorneys lurking here.

Why are there US plates on vehicles in Germany?
