re: Bush’s failure to partially privatize social security was a massive fumble
Posted by DaBike on 8/18/26 at 10:57 am to hawgfaninc
Here’s how the Democrats viewed Bush’s proposal.
Democrats argued that Social Security faced long-term funding challenges but is not in immediate danger of collapse. They stated that Social Security is a guaranteed retirement benefit, and Bush’s proposal would replace part of that guarantee with stock market risk while adding large amounts of debt and potentially reducing benefits.
Some Democratic comments:
Nancy Pelosi accused the administration of creating a crisis narrative to justify privatization.
Harry Reid
It’s wrong to replace the guaranteed benefit that Americans have earned with a guaranteed benefit cut of up to 40 percent.

re: What would you do if you're the one making a decision regarding the JD situation?

I would thank JD for his time at LSU and everything he did. Tell him he is always welcome back. Remove his image from Campaus and the QB room, and wish him the best of luck.
So, another white liberal female telling the black community what they need and how they feel.
The Democrats just cannot let go of trying to control and manipulate people they see as inferior or weaker than them.

Nothing against JD. I appreciate his time at LSU, but if he wants to part ways over giving another young man the opportunity to wear a jersey number, then they should go separate ways. LSU and JD will both be very successful with or without each other.

JD and LSU should separate. Both will be very successful with or without each other. LSU can take his image down in the QB room, and he can move on and never mention LSU again when talking about his Heisman, but everyone knows where he played when he got it, and all the highlights show him in an LSU uniform. Maybe they should never show his Heisman highlights since it was at LSU?
Just move on and let him be. He will be fine, and LSU will be fine.

It is the black gay women in the Wnba driving the agenda and it will be black women who will set them straight.

Just stop talking about JD. If he wants to move on, then let him go. Take his image down in the QB room and never talk about him again. Let’s just go our separate ways.

I’ll be dead, the country will be under Sharia law, and all these highly educated liberal women will be wearing burqas.

Greenwashing at its finest
Where did they find that group of women?
Yes, it is all of them, and those of us in the private sector would pay fines and go to jail for this.

David Duke used to talk a lot and say many things as well.
This is what the left is saying about Piker: that he has a lot of air time and just talks a lot, but doesn’t necessarily mean everything he says. They just say he has a lot of air time, and you can't take everything he says seriously.

Well, the Democratic Party is the home of the KKK, slavery, and everything the left claims to hate, but at the end of the day, it's who they are.

Wait, Democrats told me they did not want this and that it would never happen, and this didn’t exist anywhere.
At least there is no corruption in our voting process.
