Nobody wants to eat Seattle Slew Stew, Seabiscuit and country gravy, or Black Caviar.

We have a cuteness/usefulness standard for eating animals in western culture. Horses score high marks on both.

Cow on the other hand are pretty fugly and generally useless. So hamburgers are on the menu.

I've had horse and its fine. Little lean. Considering how many horses we euthanize each year in the US, we should definitely have it as a meat option.

Supply the foodbanks at a minimum. Its about the same as buffalo.

So I broke my foot a couple weeks ago so I've been off work watching youtubes. My topic has been national history or facts about nations of various continents. Anyway I looked up Kazakhstan. Apparently a pretty good looking country but horse is one of their foods that they serve some kind of way. I was a bit jilted by that.

Also during world war 2 my grandpa who is deaf attended the Louisiana school for the deaf. He said that the students were served horse.

Never underestimate MAGA’s ability to conform and justify any and everything that’s a mark against the brand. This one here is just hilarious. Baaaaaaaaa, says the sheep.

Nothing like a Filly cheesesteak sandwich. Neigh.

We don't eat animals that are smarter than us, except pigs and octopus. 9

I had it in Italy on a salad. It wasn’t awful. I’d prolly eat it again. It was smoked and kinda just tasted like pulled beef bbq tbh.

Ate a horse steak in Iceland and it was incredible. As good or better than a filet. Highly recommend if you have a chance to get it.

It’s reported that we’re capturing and slaughtering thousands of wild horses, as part of project 2025’s plan, then all of a sudden we get a post asking why we don’t eat horses lol. I’m sure you don’t even know how you got here, but I do.

That's a dumb graphic. The first 7 animals are all dogs and cats.

It's PETA, what were you expecting?

Next time, try a Filly Cheesesteak. It's really good.

Very underrated comment. Well done!
