Yeah LC is at its worst along I10.
Same goes for Lafayette.

True, but Lafayette has exits along the interstate you don't mind getting off to eat or get gas without the fear of getting mugged. Passing through LC makes you say, "we'll wait for the next town"

another vote for zoysia. Prob the most drought resistant of the bunch. It turns brown like its dead, but 1 good rain and its greener than any St. Aug.

It is less tolerant than St. Aug. of high traffic areas. When kids were little it wouldn't grow back around the swing set.

i think its because people drive only along I-10 and assume thats it and never get off.

Yeah LC is at its worst along I10. Not much to do about that....maybe....depending on who wins Mayors race.

Sidenote...i wish the powers that be could get them to build a vehicle bridge at this location! Connecting South Lake Charles (at Henry Pugh Blvd at Calcasieu Point) to South Carlyss/Sulphur area (at Burton Shipyard Road) would do wonders for the area.

Wouldnt teams that make the title game be playing 5 games?

3 games in the pod, 1 semi-final of 4 winners then championship game

i'm fine with this model. Need to win 5 in omaha!

If they insist on 16 teams

I'm also fine with the single game format. Good teams only play the 4 which makes it like a regional. If you're on that bubble, then this gives you a shot to make a run.

I keep hearing Tennessee fans say lsu ran at their dugout

They're full of shite and mad and looking for an excuse. :spank:

Now it's on TV like 397 times a week. I haven't gotten tired seeing the trailer for the sequel, though the second trailer reveals a bit more while including a lot of the same content from the first one.

Yeah I usually leave it on when its on TV.

I'll see the second!

I would be extremely happy with 2/3

Yep...this to the end of the season would have LSU sitting just fine at 20 wins.

Good for him for adjusting and having his strongest performance of the year.

This is my biggest take away. Baseball players, esp. pitchers, have routines and habits, and for him to catch it and stop it, and adjust midgame.... !
I’m gonna go w Mizzou. Can’t believe they haven’t won a single game in conference.

I’d love to know what was actually said between the 2.

Once a tiger, always a tiger! 4 Tiger! Congrats Jack!

Jonathan Moxon graduated magna cum luade from Brown University in 2003 and remained in academia as an Ethics professor until 2022 when he was ousted during the #metoo movement by a vindictive co-ed who was none other than Bud Kilmer's granddaughter

He is currently the assistant manager at the West Canaan Walmart

Would be happy with just throwing strikes.

This. I'm no analytics guy, but if the avg. batting is .300, then the probability of a batter hitting a HR or getting on base is pretty low. Throw a strike, let your Defense back you up. But with LSU's recent defensive struggles, makes this challenging as well.

I kinda agree. It would have made more sense if his mom would have got 2nd tier SWC schools to look at him. Maybe UTEP.

then you couldn't play the race card. Which is the whole point in that scene. He's Kilmer's "black work horse" and only has Grambling looking at him. Kilmer was racist, which was just another character flaw for the villain story line.

"The hard work of so many, sacrificed by the disrespect of a few. Moxon, you sacrificed the honor of this football team and the town that supports it. shite, you poisoned my team, son. I hope last night was fun! Hope it was fun!"

The scene paints Kilmer like he's some out of pocket a-hole, but he's completely right! Mox DID organize an all night drinking binge with the team's most important players which caused them to play like crap and drop a game they had no business losing. Just because Mox didn't care about football or winning district doesn't mean the other players who are working hard don't care about it. His behavior was disrespectful to everyone involved, but instead of taking responsibility all he did was pout and cry about mean ole Coach Bud Kilmer.

100% agree with your take on this scene.
