Why in God’s name can’t I get a small meal at McDonald’s

At Mickey D’s and order a filet o frick meal with a small fry. Apparently to get a combo I can only get medium? The frick is this?

The combos come in “small” as the standard.. you can upgrade to medium or large.
The sizes changed over a decade ago dude... the old “small” is value sized now.

If you order a combo at Wendy's they automatically ask you "medium or large?" and if you say small they get mad at you. They try to make you think small isn't an option.

Use the app and you can order any way you want. You could have gotten a free 4 pc McNugget with your filet of fish parts or a free fry with a drink.

You don't have to order a meal deal. You can just order whatever type of sandwich you want, then tell them you want a small fry. Are you getting a drink? If you don't order a drink they will not tell you some bullshite like "if you change the small fry to a large, you can get the combo for x amount".
I like to have fries, but I don't like to have a large because of course you eat more and fries are not the healthiest foods so when I order I say "Okay, I would like a big mac" pause for a second like you are thinking. Then say "give me a small fry" pause for a second or two then say whatever else you want. If they mention something about switching your size or making it a combo tell them the fries is for someone else and they wanted small.

Also just because they give you a medium fry.....you dont have to eat all of them.
