re: Did Lane meet with OM team?

Guess you've never been in a team meeting before. There's not a ton of talking going on while the AD, Chancellor, or HC is talking. Then the room erupted when he announced Golding.

That was supposedly after the Florida game. Reports were the week of the Egg Bowl they were getting tired of it all and wanted him to just go. Just what I've read. But it seemed the team wasn't sad he left.

Apparently he tried to talk to the team leadership players after the meeting but they told him to leave.
"logical way"? Saban was notorious for paying players under the table and getting away with it. He got out because he didn't want to compete with other schools now that paying the players was legal and everyone was going to be doing it.
Do you honestly think if LSU was in this same situation you'd have no problem the coach staying to coach?
A lot of good meteorologists come out of State.

Makes it better when they turn out to be wrong about the weather. Hotty Toddy!

I think these guys already know what that feels like.

Every time I hear her telling a story my immediate reaction is yeah that didn't happen to you.
I'm sure one of her chins looked like that.

Yall (and himself) want Eli to be Lane so bad.
Just curious but could the FAA under Biden be a bit to blame for falling behind too? Didn't they consistently delay test early, crucial test flights while they took forever with their "investigations"?

THINK. 92 yards! If you are driving 40+ mph and another vehicle oncoming is driving 40+ mph IN YOUR frickING LANE the moment of impact is less than 2 seconds.

It wasn't even 92 yards. The lawyer said it was 72 yards. Yeah that seems like a far distance when you're standing still, but two cars driving towards each other at that distance is nothing. Think of when you go to pass someone on a 2 lane highway, if the oncoming car is 72 yards away you're not attempting that pass.

No problem…we just do the same to them next year!

Exactly. And find other ways to be punitive.

It's not like Ole Miss performs whenever we play in BR anyway. I can't remember a single game in recent history where either LSU or Ole Miss performed on each other's field.
And then there is the common sense part of it all. Why would he break down the rifle and then reassemble it to just throw it in the woods? Like come on people, I get you're into conspiracy theories but seriously.

What? The vid I saw shows him jumping off the roof with the gun wrapped in a towel, which is exactly how they found it.

Do you have a link that shows he broke it down and put it in his backpack?

Someone ran with that claim when they heard about the screwdriver they found on the roof and it's all some people can fixate on, like Candace Owens.

From what I've heard, the screwdriver was to get through the door to the roof but I can't confirm that.
their report also said it had a top fed magazine, that looks like a single shot.
It all started after Lane started bringing his dog around the Ole Miss program and it started blowing up. Kirk saw that was like man I'm going to start bringing my dog around to get some more attention.

I get him now "needing" the dog but from what I'm seeing on tv it is really getting in the way. Last year they had problems getting him out of the way during the kick segment, then this year obviously him taking a shite right there. It'd be different if he were trained but he just wanders around and gets in the way on set/in the booth.

I had some financial management guy reach out to me about wanting to present me with all of the services his company offers. I told him I wasn't interested and he still messaged me once a week asking for a meeting.
