So you like it for a boy or not? I always thought of Shiloh as a civil war battle site which actually makes the name kinda bad arse and also kinda racist at the same time...

single mothers is the only reason for shitastic names, regardless of race, women should not be able to make long term decisions.

Again...People are naming these children little cutesy names like the child will be 5 years old forever. These kids have to put these silly arse names on their resume one day. There is going to eventually be a 70 year old grandpa named Braydyn or Brextyn. It's a disservice to the child. I would be interested to know the types of names that get legally changed by the Social Security Office in the next 10 to 15 years.

Ascension Parish used to have 2 boy names only...Ronnie and Jimmy. They didnt decide to "junior" their names to their sons so you got the birth of all of these new names...and weird ones.

Kash and Blakelynn just wouldn't be able to deal.

Dude, that doesn't mean shite. You think Joshua isn't an old name? That chart shows the average age is 30s for American men named Joshua. Joshua is a name from the Bible.

Jaxyn, on the other hand, is some madeup bullshite by idiots who want their kids to be "unique", as if there are no unique Joshs, Mikes, Sarahs, or Samanthas in the world.

Eh, I don't know, she was Hades' wife, which is kind of dark, but at least it's a name with some history. I'm not sure what kind of label you're putting on your daughter naming her after the goddess of the underworld.

I know of someone who named her twins Bow and Arrow. Claims the husband named them that because he likes to hunt.

They do it strictly to be "unique" and I fricking HATE IT! It really shouldn't bother me, but it does. I was praying my sister wouldn't name her baby something stupid once they found out the gender, but it didn't happen. Bexleigh. WTF IS THAT?!

it's a lower class mentality thing

they're rejecting "normal" (middle, upper-middle class) culture

they're also trying to make their child unique (in all the wrong ways)

it's just selfishness from people who don't understand how to live well. it's become so popular it's a cultural thing, too, because it's been so reinforced

This is the root of the madness. It starts with scripting how they'll ask/be asked someone to homecoming, then prom. The ridiculous engagement routines followed by the obligatory wedding ceremony entrance dance down the aisle and custom vows.

These are the people who need reeducation camps.

True story: There were a father son named Richard ------ in my home town.

It was confusing because they both had the same name so people called the old man Big Dick and the son Little Dick.
