My kid has a normal name with a traditional spelling

Anything ending with the letter 'N' seems to be popular. Not sure why.

How did the crowd react to the custom name at the gender reveal party?
Making assumptions. Me not naming my son something crazy has nothing to do with me not judging someone because of their name. Like I told the other guy, learn how to be an adult.

Ardel, Burnel, Raynel, W.L., Lanel, Odel, Marcel, Newgene, Claude, and Clovis. Uncle Versie and Aunt Pat are the parents.

Same here. No reason to saddle a kid with something weird because of parental narcissism.

Why do white parents today name their kids ridiculous names?

WTF is wrong with Grayson, m'fer?
Wait I didn't realize how popular it had become. It was 333 on the list in 1999. Didn't realize I was such a trendsetter.

Definitely has a Pressleigh and Jaxsyn at home.
I think SFP said in another thread he flat out asks clients if they spell it "traditional or weird."

Every time this thread happens it's ridiculous. A bunch of Codys, Justins, and Brandons making fun of names that won't be ridiculous by the time these kids are adults either.
Justin-Old fricking name that comes from Latin
Brandon- Also an Old Celtic name

In the mid 80's there was a wave of girls named after the popular porn stars of the day.

But what is the deal with this generation of white people today?
It's not necessarily a new thing.
I had a great-grandfather named Wheeler. I always though it was a kinda odd name.

I like the classical names. Luckily my wife agreed with me.

The late 1800s to early 1900s was full of wild arse names for white people

I put in that Southwest kid's name into the name link. It showed "Abcde" hit its peak in 2010 with 30 people. I was surprised to see the number that high.
