I like take a look at that American Gladiators roster from back in the day. Sabre is sure going to love her little brother, Nitro.

Southwest Airlines gate agent is accused of being awful in front of a 5-year old girl and on social media because of her unique name.

The girl's mother says the agent made fun of the name and even posted a photo of her boarding pass on social media for others to chime in.

Five-year-old Abcde Redford pronounces her name "ab-city."

That poor child better get used to being made fun of for her stupid name. Just wait till she gets older in school.

I automatically think less of people with names such as that one. It's subconscious.

That's dumb. What do you think old folks thought about Courtney, Brittany, Jason, Derek, Jewel, and other names that were popularized a couple generations ago.

Every time this thread happens it's ridiculous. A bunch of Codys, Justins, and Brandons making fun of names that won't be ridiculous by the time these kids are adults either.

Your name Ricky? Thats what the link opened too. Ha.

Pretty cool. My names peaked in 1958 and 1965, and sharp drops after.

What sux is that my paternal grandfathers name has become pretty popular, so not sure on a 2nd boys name. If that ever happens. Solid name still though. Ha.

Nah. It shows up blank for me with 'male' selected by default. Also, Ricky is a derivation of Richard, which is really old.

Good...and I mean LEGIT GOOD....reason behind it?? Ha. If so then cool. If not then it could be worse.

I have a friend who's mom named him after the road she would take to the hospital/doctors office while she was pregnant. Corny a bit, but could be worse. They did the same for their first son. Unfortunately the name is pretty popular, though cool. But one of those that he will always have 2-4 other similar named guys in his class.

Was messin mostly but that is what it opened up with. The actual name Ricky peaked in 1960 with like 12k then dropped. pretty cool site.

Obviously more popular for girls than boys, but more biys were named Shiloh in 2017 than were named Chad, for example.
