I’m white. My wife and I have decided our son will be named John and our daughter will be named Jane.
It’s not a race thing. It’s a socioeconomic thing. Low class whites names their kids Jayden and Kayden which is equivalent to Shenequa and Jamarcus.

Poor white people didn't used to give their kids ridiculous names. And it's not just poor whites. This isn't a class thing. It's a white millennial phenomenon.

Pretty much anything ending in -lyn, -Leigh etc. also popular is taking a common name and replacing random vowels with y.
