My poor old late Mama and both grandmothers could lay out a meal better than my wife ever has. But out of fear of domestic violence with me on the losing end, I've never admitted it to my wife. Though she suspects my feelings.

How about youngsters?

My Italian grandmother loved to cook. Always had the flag of Italy raised up in her kitchens along with a painting of Holy Mary when she was cooking pasta and spaghetti. Then, while we were eating, my grandfather would always come in wearing a tank top, a gold chain necklace, and greased back hair. His tank-top said “Don’t frick With Me. I’m Italian”. We’d all be arguing with each other while watching the latest episode of Jersey Shore. Good times

Not to toot my own horn but I can out cook them all. Took a couple years off from work and really stepped up my game. Cooking is probably my favorite hobby.

My mom but it’s not controversial in our household because my wife would agree

My mom repeats the tried and true meals, which are great. My wife has way more variance and cooks lots of different things.

Both great cooks.

Cooking is like beauty pageants

Women are expected to do it but men are better at it

IT"S A TRAP--DON"T ANSWER

best to wait until your wife acknowledges her betters. Until then, dance, dance, dance.

I'm actually a better cook than my wife, so it was never a problem for me.

The only way I can rank the women in my family is #1 for all of them.

MawMaw’s , Momma,Sisters , Cousins, MIL’s

My grandma was one of the best at cooking just about anything she put her mind to. My mother can't make a roux to save her life and is only a fair to middling cook and my wife leaves 90+% of the cooking to me, and I prefer it that way------------and so do most others I've fed over the years.

Overall, I'd say my wife is the better cook than my mother, but a distant second to my late grandma.

If I let my wife do the cooking we’d have salmon and broccoli 6 nights a week

My mother n law was the best. I see lot of men complaining about their MIL but mine loved me more than her own daughter at least that’s how she made me feel

Sounds like my step-daughter. She has a recipe for about 5 or 6 things and they are on constant rotation.

Jalapeno poppers
Chicken Enchiladas
Stuffed Poblano Peppers
Tex-Mex Chicken Soup
Frozen Pizza dressed up with some veggies and extra cheese

My mom is a great cook and I learned from her.

I take after her, and I'm just as good, if not better.

My ole lady can't cook worth a damn. I'm okay with that.

I actually learn how to do things better, I watch a lot of videos on everything related to cooking.

I actually wanted to go to culinary school after high school instead of going to college.
