Wife is better baker. Both of them struggle to boil water (the men in my family tend to cook).

I cook better than both of them. I do all the cooking at my house and most of the cooking during the holidays when the family gets together.

My mom....but only because of 1 or 2 dishes. For the most part my mom was a pretty mediocre cook... her etoufee and BBQ shrimp are next level. My wife...doesn't cook. When I go on business trips she will eat cereal if I don't leave her left over something.

My wife can bake well. I do the cooking. She can air fry with the best of them though. My mom was a great cook

Different ask for me.
Mom was an awesome cajun cook.
Wife is Bosnian who never had Cajun food until she met me. I will say however that my wife is an awesome cook and has even put her own twist to Cajun food.
All in all, I would say different but equal.

My wife is such a great cook I don’t like going out to eat. Even when I’m traveling and can eat any restaurant I want, it’s seldom as good as what I get at home. She loves to bake, too. Lucky man! My mom didn’t like cooking and it showed.

My wife does at the more traditional meals. Even though we eat biscuits and gravy maybe twice a year, my wife’s is amazing. I can’t express how good that gravy is. Not sure how she does it, it’s not from practice.

Overall my wife. Certain dishes especially holiday dishes my mom cooks better.
